Well, as you can see on the subject
line, I was able to meet with Christian on Saturday.....
I got there a little bit after 2 pm (the signing was from 2-4). After looking everywhere to see where the
signing was taking place, I found out it was at the end corner of the trade
center.
I saw the stage and I got excited to see him.
I was looking for the table to buy my ticket and get in line to see him.
Turning the corner to my right, I see this huge black guy, so I was about to
get my money to pay when I realized that he wasn't working for the trade
center, it was VIRGIL !!!!!! He has his own table selling his own pictures from
when he was in the WWE !!!!!!!! I was like, hummm, okay, we have Christian from
TNA and Virgil from WWE, that makes a lot of sense. My friend April looked at
me and was like, "He kinda look familiar and I told her, yeah, remember Million Dollard Man Ted
DiBiase, well there is his butler...."
LOL Any ways, I didn't say anything to him and decide to turn left, at the end
of the line and bought my ticket.
Bought the ticket and asked if they were selling polaroid today for Christiand
the lady said, yes. Well, here I was
prepared with $20.00. Got my ticket and waited in line. There was not a lot of
people in line to tell you the truth (I was the 161 to buy a ticket to see him)
and there was really nobody after me...... I waited about 25 minutes and there
he was, on a stage in front of me. I got my small camera ready to take some
pictures until the security guard told me that I was not allowed to take
pictures on stage. The only pictures allowed were the polaroid ones. What the
F%^&... It's my Christian and since when aren't we allowed to take pictures
on the stage ???????Well, I guess they must have change the rule during the
past two years since the last time that I went for a signing at Polaroid with
him.
Okay, once I walked the stairs up to go on the stage, he was standing up
signing pictures away, then, I showed him my picture that I had for him to
sign, an old picture pre-WWE, from a show in Windsor with BCW. He looked at the
picture and he was "WOW, that's an old one". So I replied back that I
got it at a BCW show and hope to see him again in Windsor (didn't let him know that
I knew he was coming back in March.... LOL). I asked him to sign it "To
Sandra". After he signed the picture, I went next to him and took our
picture. I wasn't really ready, but then I saw the flash of the polaroid.......
Then, I left because there was really nothing else I could do, with my small
camera, I would have not been able to get good picture from down the stage,
with all the people walking in front of him on the stage.
But, good news.... I just bought a digital camera with a zoom, so for next time
I get to meet somebody, I will be able to ZOOM in and take some pictures. You
will see in the attachment, I included the picture that he signed for me and
also the picture of us......
