Haha it must be the eyes
That they got me like damn
Man the Rule gonna hafta get at her
And our situation won't matter
I come to make you smile
In the freakiest landers
J to the ELLO
Hello, no I'm not be harmin' y'alls wall
I'm the Rule in the shot call
Off the wall
Like MJ in his early years
It's the achin' Lopez now
Batista and myself have been seeing each other for little over year now and everything is just perfect between us with the exception of arugments we would have. Not like couples don't have one every once in awhile in a relationship, but then theres the make up sex that makes whatever we were fightning about just fade away into thin air. But everytime it seems when Batista goes back on the road that I recieve flowers, cards, etc from mysertious secret person, and I know whose sending them.
'Haha it must be the eyes. That they got me like damn,' Brock said to himself softly while watching me walk out of the front door wearing a black halter top with a dark pair of stretch pants to get the mail. 'Man the rule gonna hafta get at her,And our situation won't matter'
As I opened and closed the mail box with the mail in my hands, his pale blue eyes watched every move I made.
'Yep, I figured as much,' I said to myself silently, seeing poor handwriting on one of the envelopes with my name on it. 'He's never going to get it through his thick skull, is he?'
So I decided to give him something to stare at while I walked back into the house, and I swear I could have heard him hiss out some oath. I shrugged my shoulders, as I just walked in and closed the front door behind me with smile on my lips.
"I come to make you smile. In the freakiest landers," Brock said smiling, and walked out of his hiding place
Chapter 2
[Jennifer]
Aint that funny
It's been awhile since you came around
Now ya wanna see what's goin' down
Tryin' to tell me why ya want my time
Tryin' to tell me how I'm on your mind
See it never had to be this way
You should of never played the games you played
Now I'm seein' that you're kinda lame
Knowin' how the situtation change
I heard the dull roar of a car's engine, and I smiled sourly. I grabbed the cards I just recieved in the mail, and tossed them in the trash, where they belonged. I laughed, and pulled back my black halter top to cover my belly ring that I had just got, and wearing my favorite blue hip huggers, that seemed to go together well. I decided to fly out last minute to meet Batista, and confront Brock about these little things he was sending me.
'Aint that funny,' I thought to myself silently while picking up the phone, and dialing American Airlines to book a flight from Tampa to Houston, Texas, where the PPV was being held at. 'It's been awhile since you came around. Now ya wanna see what's goin' down'
I kept on smiling at the memory of when I told Brock I was seeing Batista that one year ago.
*memory*
"Anne," a deep voice said to me out of the blue. "Can I speak to you for few minutes?"
Looking up from reading my book, Exist To Inspire, The Hardy Boys New York Best selling autobiography, I locked my green eyes with the pale blue ones of the man that left me high and dry five months ago. My green eyes darkened at the sight of him, and it seemed my change in eye color suprised the living hell out of him.
"I think you did. Enough was said when you left me five months ago without leaving me a word or anything," I said to Brock, calmly and coolly.
Brock was left without anything to say, or no explaination why he left the woman sitting before him on the leather couch, but he was determined to win her back from Batista.
"I want you back, baby," Brock said to me, trying to sound truthful. "I want things back to the way they were."
'You got to be freaking kidding me,' I said to myself, staring at Brock like he was crazy for what he just said. 'You wanna come back in my life. But now there is something I have to do.'
"Well you can't have your way, Brock," I said hissing it out vemously. "You can't have my love anymore, and my heart can't take anymore lies. Now, leave before my boyfriend, Batista, comes in here. And my eyes are all out of cries."
'And I know it sounds crazy,' I said to myself silently watching Brock's response to what I just told him, 'But I still loved you.'
"Batista," Brock gasped out shocked, and his pale blue eyes were wide with suprise.
"Yes, Batista," I said to him matter factly. "I didn't stutter his name, Brock. Now, please get out of here"
Hearing me say Batista's name roll off my lips so perfectly that it killed him inside, Brock silently walked out of Batista's locker room, and out of my life. I watched the way his pale blue eyes widened to the size of cocnuts, but I couldn't shake the pain mirrored within either.
*end of memory*
I booked my flight for noon, and I hung up the phone. Remembering I needed a cab to get me to the airport I called the cab companythat Batista always uses to get the airport and I blushed slighty when the lady on the other line called me Ms. Batista. I shook it off and spoke with her for couple minutes while she told me what time the cab was picking me up.
"Tryin' to tell me why ya want my time. Tryin' to tell me how I'm on your mind," I said in almost Brock's voice and words he once wrote in card he sent to me
'See it never had to be this way' My heart said silently reminding me of what Brock did to me
With the rest of time I packed some stuff into my small portable suitcase with wheels and wore Brock's favorite perfume that he used to like me to wear when we were dating.
"You should of never played the games you played," I said softly placing my suitcase by the front door " Now I'm seein' that you're kinda lame. Knowin' how the situtation change"
Chapter 3
Ain't that funny
Baby that you want me, when you had me
Love is crazy, I'm glad I can smile and say
Baby that you want me, when you had me
Love is crazy, I'm glad I can smile and say
Ain't that funny
After packing and setting my suitcase by the front door, I had a moment to look myself over in the mirror. Smiling, I knew what I wore would drive Brock insane when he would see me tonight at the arena.
'Ain't that funny,' I said to myself smirking. 'Baby that you want me, when you had me. Love is crazy, I'm glad I can smile and say'
Right after calling the cab company, I decided to change my outfit and decided to play little mind game with Brock to even it up a bit. I wore my white tied back halter top that hugged my chest and midsection nicely. Then, I wore my hip hugging bell bottom cut blue jeans that had metal chin running though the holes on both sides of the jeans and to complete the outfit I wore my white sandal heels. Of course I had my toes done just in time for summertime and decided to show them off. I laughed softly while
pulling my long auburn hair out of the ponytail, and allowing it to flow down my back.
"Perfect," I commented softly, while walking away from the mirror and grabbing my purse.
Moments later, I heard the car horn of the cab waiting outside of my house and I smirked even more. I leaned down and grabbed the handle of portable suitcase and closed my front door. I walked confidently to the cab and got inside of it while the driver placed my suitcase in the trunk of the car.
" Baby that you want me, when you had me," I said softly while the cab pulled away from my house and unto the highway "Love is crazy, I'm glad I can smile and say Ain't that funny"
