Amanda Perez - Angel
It's been five months since you went away
Left without a word and nothing to say
When I was the one who gave you my heart and soul
But it wasn't good enough for you, no
So I asked God
Five months, Brock and myself were the hottest and most talked about couple in all the WWE, next to Stephine Mc Mahon and HHH. Everything seemed so perfect between us, well almost perfect, I guess. For some unknown reason, or reasons, Brock just got up and left me without a fucking word to explain why he just left me. This tore me up inside and outside. I can't understand why Brock would up and leave me like that. Was it something I said or did that gave him just cause for leaving me?
'It's been five months since you went away,' I said to myself while I stared blankly at the picture of myself and Brock holding each other close and we were standing in our bathing suits. 'Left without a word and nothing to say.'
"When I was the one who gave you my heart and soul," I said softly in a bitter tone of voice, while fresh tears went down my face from my green, blood shot eyes "But it wasn't good enough for you, no."
God send me an angel
From the heavens above
Send me an angel to heal my broken heart
From being in love
'Cause all I do is cry
God send me an angel
To wipe the tears from my eyes
I placed it back in a small brown box labeled 'The Past' and taped the flaps of the box shut. I picked up a black marker that laid on my dresser next to my hotel bed and I wrote in big bold lettering 'NEVER OPEN EVER AGAIN'. The box represented the man that I gave my heart and soul to, but it seemed it wasn't good enough for him if he left me without a word. In the quietness of the room, and in my broken heart, I silently asked God to send me an angel from the heavens above to heal my broken heart from being in love. That angel that God could send to me would wipe away the tears from my green eyes.
"God send me an angel," I said softly while I prayed, "from the heavens above. Send me an angel to heal my broken heart, from being in love."
'From being in love 'cause all I do is cry.' I said to myself unable to keep myself from crying 'God send me an angel, to wipe the tears from my eyes.'
The angel God would send to me was a man with a troubled childhood and that man was named Batista.
And I know it might sound crazy
But after all that I still love you
You wanna come back in my life
But now there is something I have to do
I have to tell the one that I once adored
That they can't have my love no more
Cause my heart can't take no more lies
And my eyes are all out of cries
Shyly, I started to get myself back to normal with a lot of help from Batista, a very mysterious man who came into my life a month ago, almost heaven sent. Batista helped me to heal my broken heart from being in love, and learn to love again. Soon we were inseparable. Everytime you would see Batista, you could bet I wasn't too far away from him. But I would get an unexpected visit from the man that left me broken hearted five months ago. That man was named Brock Lesnar who was now the Smackdown's World Wrestling Entertainment Champion after beating Kurt Angle at Wrestlemaina 19.
"Anne," a deep voice said to me out of the blue. "Can I speak to you for few minutes?"
Looking up from reading my book, Exist To Inspire, The Hardy Boys New York Best selling autobiography, I locked my green eyes with the pale blue ones of the man that left me high and dry five months ago. My green eyes darkened at the sight of him, and it seemed my change in eye color suprised the living hell out of him.
"I think you did. Enough was said when you left me five months ago without leaving me a word or anything," I said to Brock, calmly and coolly.
Brock was left without anything to say, or no explaination why he left the woman sitting before him on the leather couch, but he was determined to win her back from Batista.
"I want you back, baby," Brock said to me, trying to sound truthful. "I want things back to the way they were."
'You got to be freaking kidding me,' I said to myself, staring at Brock like he was crazy for what he just said. 'You wanna come back in my life. But now there is something I have to do.'
"Well you can't have your way, Brock," I said hissing it out vemously. "You can't have my love anymore, and my heart can't take anymore lies. Now, leave before my boyfriend, Batista, comes in here. And my eyes are all out of cries."
'And I know it sounds crazy,' I said to myself silently watching Brock's response to what I just told him, 'But I still loved you.'
"Batista," Brock gasped out shocked, and his pale blue eyes were wide with suprise.
"Yes, Batista," I said to him matter factly. "I didn't stutter his name, Brock. Now, please get out of here"
God send me an angel
From the heavens above
Send me an angel to heal my broken heart
From being in love
'Cause all I do is cry
God send me an angel
To wipe the tears from my eyes
Hearing me say Batista's name roll off my lips so perfectly that it killed him inside, Brock silently walked out of Batista's locker room, and out of my life. I watched the way his pale blue eyes widened to the size of cocnuts, but I couldn't shake the pain mirrored within either.
Now you had me on my knees
Begging God please to send you back to me
I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep
You made me feel like I could not breathe
Now all I wanted to do was to feel your touch
And give you all my love
But you took my love for granted
Want my lovin' now
But you can't have it
God
'Now you had me on my knees, begging God please to send you back to me,' I thought silently while I continued to read the Hardy Boyz book. 'I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep. You made me feel like I could not breathe, and now all I wanted to do was feel your touch.'
Batista walked in to see me sitting with black shirt and dark blue jeans with my legs folded underneath me while I read. My auburn hair was only pinned back with a simple bobby pin on the left side of my head. Feeling another person in the room, I lifted my green eyes from the book to see the brown ones of Batista smiling at me.
"Hi," I said to him, unfolding my legs from underneath me, as I placed the book down.
"Hey there," Batista said to me as I walked into his loving embrace.
While he held me in his arms, I couldn't help but think how I was those five months ago before Batista entered my life. All tears, and painful memories surrounding me like a vice that wasn't going to let me go, and I pressed myself closer to Batista, wanting to feel the warmth of his body.
"And to give you all my love (give you all my love)," I said softly not wanting Batista to hear "But you took all my love for granted. All my love, and now you can't have it. Oh, God..."
God send me an angel
From the heavens above
Send me an angel to heal my broken heart
From being in love
'Cause all I do is cry
God send me an angel
To wipe the tears from my eyes
But, unknowningly, Batista heard what I said, and held me closer to him. He knew full well the person by name whom I was referring to.
'Brock Lesnar,' Batista said to himself, while he pulled slightly from me, and kissed on my forehead.
Oh God, send me (God send me an angel)
An angel (wipe the tears from my eyes) Oh baby
Send me an angel from the heavens above
Send me an angel (God send me an angel)
From being in love (send me an angel)
Oh God, send me an angel
Send me an angel (send me an angel)
Ooohhhh..
'God did send me an angel from the heavens above to wipe the tears from eyes,' I said to myself while I kissed Batista on the right check, and we walked out of the locker room hand in hand.
