Chapter 5 - Sandra

After finishing their meals, Betty and Sandra just laid on Betty's king size bed and just trying to figure out if it was just a dream or if it was reality..... Then all of sudden, Betty pinched Sandra on her arm, which made Sandra scream. Sandra looked at Betty asking her what was the matter with her, and Betty replied laughing that it was just to make sure that she wasn't dreaming, it was reality. Then, Betty looked at the clock and noticed it was 7:00 p.m. already. They had to get ready to go meet Vince at the arena, so Betty got in the shower first and Sandra was just there, day dreaming and also, going through all the papers that Vince had gave them. All of a sudden, she found a roster list of all the wrestlers working for the WWF. She decided to take a look at the list to see if she could see her brother's name in it. She was going down the list until she saw the name of Edge. Her eyes got bigger and were wondering if it could be her brother. She didn't have the list with the real names and she didn't know anybody really to ask the question. When Betty came out of the shower, Sandra called her and told her about what she found. Betty looked at Sandra and with a smile on her face, asked her if it could be him. Sandra didn't know what to say and she told Betty that she would ask Vince tonight after the meeting. Betty didn't know what to wear, so looking through all the clothes that she brought with her, and trying to make a nice matching with a pair of pants and a nice top. Sandra was still thinking about the name Edge and all of sudden, got off of her thought when Betty yelled at Sandra to go and get ready.

It was 7:45 p.m. and the girls were ready. They left their suite and went down the lobby of the hotel. There was a limo waiting at the door and Harry was waiting for them. They got into the limo and went to the Arena. Vince was waiting for them with the writers, Shane and a huge tall man, with dark reddish hair. Sandra elbowed Betty for her to look at the nice looking fella. Betty was trying to remember who he was. Then all of a sudden it hit her and she knew who he was. She whispered in Sandra's ear that he was the famous Undertaker. Vince started the introduction with the writing crew, Shane and when he was up to Taker, he introduced him as Mark. He was part of the writing committee because he knew better than anybody did if the story lines would be good or not and if it would be possible. Also, he was there because he was preparing his big come back on Monday at the Raw is War from Detroit. The girls sat down and listen very closely to what Vince was telling them.

After a short speech, Sandra went to sit with the some of the crew to talk about the interviews and Betty with the camera crew. Vince sat with Shane and Mark and trying to find the best way to bring him back into the story line. One hour later, everything was set and they would all meet the next morning at the arena, for the physical aspect of the preparation. When everybody was done, they all shook hands and began to leave the little office that Vince had set up at the Joe Louis Arena. Sandra wanted so bad to ask Vince about the famous Edge of the list, but she couldn't do it. She turned to Mark and she thought that he would be the best person to ask him about the roster. Sandra went up to Mark and asked him if she could ask him a question. Betty was behind Sandra to listen to the answer, but also, was looking at Mark's gorgeous body at the same time. Mark looked down to Sandra and was waiting for the question. Sandra took a deep breath and asked if he could tell him Edge's real name. Mark looked at Sandra and asked her why she wanted to know.

Mark knew exactly why she was asking because Adam had told the whole story to Mark. Since Sandra and Adam looked almost like twins, he knew that she wanted to find out if her brother was in the WWF. Mark was waiting to hear Sandra's reason for wanting to know Edge's real name. Sandra looked at him and told him that she was just wondering because she knew somebody when she was a kid that wanted to be a wrestler and had said his stage name would be Edge. Mark thought it was a pretty good excuse and with a little laugh, looked at Sandra and told her that Yes, it was her brother.

Sandra's mouth dropped to the floor and Betty's choked on her own saliva. Sandra couldn't talk, but wanted to know how he knew, and before she could say anything, Mark told her that he knew that Adam had a sister that was working as a news reporter and since they looked so much alike, she had to be Edge's sister. Betty was still choking behind Sandra and Mark grabbed a glass of water to give to Betty. She took the glass of water and drank some. They both needed to sit down and get their breath back. Vince came up to Mark and asked him what did he do this time to the two girls, and Mark said that he didn't do anything. Vince started laughing and told Mark that he didn't need to do anything, the girls just fall for you Mark.

When the girls got back to their hotel room, Sandra still couldn't believe it that her brother was in the WWF, but was wondering if Jason was with him or not. She hadn't even thought of asking Mark, she had enough with the first shocking news for today. She would wait until tomorrow and ask somebody while they did some rehearsing. Betty was already in bed and a big smile on her face, thinking of what Adam would do when he saw her again on Monday, if he still had his blond hair down to his shoulders. But then, she starting thinking that maybe after all these years, he might be married by now. He might be in a serious relationship. She never got into a relationship after Adam left.... She never paid too much attention either as she was working more into her career than looking for a boyfriend. She was happy with the way her life was turning out and she didn't have or need anybody to report to, but sometimes, she would think of Adam, she would try to figure out what her life would be if he had stayed.

While Betty was dreaming and thinking, Sandra was sitting on her bed thinking of how would she react when she saw her brother. She loved him to death, and now she regretted what she had done when she told him that he wasn't her brother anymore, that for her he was dead. She put her head over her hands as tears fell down her face.

In some other hotel room, Mark was sitting on his bed too, and was waiting to call Adam to tell him about his sister. Adam and Mark had become really close since Adam joined the WWF, he was like his mentor. So, one night, Adam had told the whole story to Mark and he told him that he wished that his sister would forgive him, he really needs her in his life. Especially after losing his mom, and not knowing about his father, he didn't have anybody to lean on. He only had his character brother Christian to talk to and to Mark. Mark was waiting for Midnight to come, because the guys were doing a house show that night and he knew that the guys had to be back at the hotel by midnight. At that time, he would let Adam in on the good news.

Chapter 6 - Lady B

Mark waited until 12:00 a.m. and put a call through to the guys at the hotel. He was informed that they were not in their room. He left a message for Adam to call him as soon as he came in. It was now 2:00 a.m. and Adam had not called so Mark went to bed.

The girls got up the next day and went to the arena for the taping of some of the interviews. As usual Betty was dressed in jeans, sneakers, a WWF T-shirt that had been given to her the previous day and her backwards turned cap. She carried her shoulder harness for the video camera. Sandra had dressed in a pair of dress slacks and a blouse since she was going to be on camera.

When they arrived, they went directly to Vince's office. They were informed that they would be taping the interviews with the Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker and New Tag Team champions. Sandra was reading over the script as Betty familiarized herself with the video camera out in the hallway. The Rock was the first one to show up for his video interview. Betty directed the lights on him and Sandra, and started the camera rolling as she counted off "3 . . 2 . . . 1" and gave them the signal to begin. The Rock, as usual, went into one of his spiels as Sandra asked him a question. The Rock raised the people's eyebrow and looked at her as he asked her what her name was. When she went to answer he said "It doesn't matter what your name is" in his usual Rock self. Betty was trying very hard to hold the camera steady as she tried not to laugh. When Betty called cut after The Rock said "If you Smell, lalala, what the Rock is cooking" and once again gave the peoples eyebrow, The Rock told Sandra not to take anything that he had said seriously because he was just acting for the camera as he walked away.

The next one up was Stone Cold. He went into his rattlesnake stink and said that he would be behind the Rock one hundred percent even though the Rock had not asked for his help. "And that's the way it would be because Stone Cold said so". When that interview was done Taker came on and said that no matter who won the belt he would be waiting in the sidelines to take on the winner. That belt rightfully belonged to him and his Creatures of the Night and he was going to make sure that it came back to the darkside.

Betty and Sandra waited around for a while, but the tag team champions had not arrived. They were informed that their interview would have to be live because they were having problems getting visas to come to the states. The girls decided to call it a day and went to speak to Vince. He was in the video truck looking over the taping that had just been done of the interviews when the girls entered. "Sandra, you are so believable in your interviews. I really thought you were afraid when Taker snatched the mike from you and turned to the camera. Betty you are a great cameraperson. If you girls ever decide to leave the magazine or just want a job, let me know, cause I will hire you on the spot" Vince added.

After looking through all the tapes Vince was satisfied and gave the girls the rest of the day off which they used to go shopping.

The days passed by very quickly with Sandra learning the script for the show and the live interviews and Betty getting used to working the cameras. Before they knew it, the day of the event had arrived. The girls went to the arena as had become their routine in the late afternoon and started to prepare for the night's event. Harry informed Betty that she would man the camera in the 8th row until after the championship tag match. Then she was to turn the camera over to one of the other cameramen and go to the back for the interview with the tag champs who would come out about 5 minutes after their match and be shot and interviewed in the hallway. Sandra of course would already be relieved by The King and would be in the back ready for the interview.

Betty didn't see a problem with it, since she was in sneakers and 5 minutes would just give her enough time to hand over the camera, sprint to the hallway and get the portable video cam ready for taping.

Of course they hadn't been told who the tag champions were and who would be the champions after the match.

The event started on time and the cameras were rolling as the first few matches went on. When the tag champions were due to come out Betty was told via her headphone to pan the audience and search for them because they usually came out through the audience. She finally spotted two bodies making their way through the crowd. When they jumped over the railing she got a close up of them and practically lost the shot. She couldn't believe that her beloved Edge and Christian were really Adam and Jason. She was so nervous she had to concentrate to keep the camera on the action. When the match was finished Edge and Christian were still the champs. They walked slowly up the ramp with the belts held up high in their hands.

Betty handed the camera over to one of the cameramen who had come up beside her and sprinted to the back. She made it just in time to grab the portable video camera and get it rolling as Edge and Christian emerged from behind the curtains which were made to appear as if they were the entrance curtains from the arena. Sandra was waiting for the champs but she had her back to them. When she heard them coming she turned around and stopped dead in their tracks, as did Edge and Christian. Edge's mouth fell open when he saw his sister standing in front of him. Sandra was speechless. "Betty keep that camera rolling" Betty heard over her headset as she was about to shut it off. The director said from the video trucks "Everyone make sure we get this". Edge walked up to Sandra and gingerly put his hands on her arms as he looked at her and suddenly pulled her into his arms. They hugged and cried together as Jason came over and joined in a group hug. "If you're here, Betty has to be here" Adam whispered to Sandra as he continued to hug her. Sandra was finally able to find her voice and whispered back "Look behind the camera". Edge released Sandra from the hug but kept his arm around her as he turned to the cameras.

By this time several video cameras were rolling as Edge looked from one video camera to the other. Betty knew he was looking for her so she shut off the camera and very slowly lowered it so that Edge could see her. A huge smile spread over Edges face as he let Sandra go and came over to Betty. One of the cameramen took the camera from Betty 's hand as Edge picked her up and hugged her. He finally put her back down on the ground as he brought his lips to hers and kissed her. Meanwhile Sandra and Jason were in a very heavy liplock while another camera was taping in their direction. What everyone had not realized was that this was a live feed and that everyone in the arena was a witness to what was happening in the back as they cheered so loud the roof was almost blown off the arena. "What the fuck" Vince said, as he raced to the hallway where that particular interview was supposed to be going on. He met Linda as he raced down the hallway. "Vince, let it roll. Listen to the reaction in the arena" Linda said as she grabbed him by the arm and did not let him get close to them. They were joined by Mark who had a giant koolaid smile on his face. "Mark, did you know about this?" Vince asked. "I had an idea, but wasn't sure. But how could they not be related. Didn't you see the similarity between Sandra and Edge?" Mark asked. "Hummmm. . . now that you mention it, I see what you mean" Vince replied. "This may make a good story line yet" Vince said as he stood against the hallway watching the action.

Chapter 7 - Sandra

After a long passionate kiss, Betty and Adam still couldn't believe that they found each other. Adam looked at Sandra and he wanted to tell her so much, but didn't know where to start. Also the fact that they were live on TV, on the biggest Raw ever, and now, they had to give some explanation to Vince. Vince, Linda and Mark were there watching them, and also at the same time, were thinking of how to include what millions and millions of people saw on TV into their story line. Vince grabbed both Mark and Linda and told them to follow him to the office, that he had a great idea.

After that brief moment, Adam, Jay, Sandra and Betty realized that they were live and they had a job to do, but how to keep going on with the supposed interview after what happened? They had to do a bit of explanation, and that's when Sandra came up with an idea. She told Betty to contact J.R. and Jerry and tell them to explain to the viewers that what happened before was a reunion after 3 years with her brother and it wasn't something planned and that they will go on with the interview on the Tag Team Champions. Sandra looked at her brother and told him that they had a job to do right now and they would talk after everything was over. Jay was still in shock to see Sandra and Betty and just wanted to leave all that and take Sandra back to the hotel, to bring back the old memories, but as he was dreaming, the idea of having lost Sandra came to his mind. He didn't know if she had moved on with her life, if she was married or not. For him, he was still in love with her and he never settled down in a relationship in the past three years. Not because he hadn't had many chances, but the fact that they traveled almost 300 days a year didn't helped either. He was waiting for her.

Same with Adam, he knew about Betty's career that she was successful and that she had a big name in the Toronto area with his sister as a reporter/cameraperson, but other than that, he didn't know anything else. He prayed many times that he would find his sister again and have the same relation with her like in the good old times. When Betty got the cue from J.R. that they would go on with the interview in 5 minutes, Betty looked at Sandra and told her to get ready.

Carmen the make up girl was there to touch up with Sandra because her make-up had ran down from the tears. Adam and Jason got their senses back, grabbed their Title Belts and were ready to do it. J.R. told the viewers that Edge had found his sister whom he hadn't seen for 3 years and it was not in the story line, and that it was a spur of the moment thing that had happened and that they were ready to go to them for the interview. Betty cued Sandra. "3...2...1" and Sandra went on with her interview.

Vince, Linda and Mark were watching carefully on their monitor in the office and the three of them smiled. Seeing how the crowd had reacted and how Sandra was able to get back into her professional mode so quickly. He loved it and without asking anybody, he called Sandra and Betty's boss. He asked him if he could have both girls working for him. Vince would of course give the magazine a good amount of money for the loss of the girls. Kyle, their boss of the magazine, hesitated a bit, but he knew that he couldn't keep the girls forever because they had so much potential and that it would be their career opportunity of a lifetime. Kyle gave his approval and let the girls leave to work with the WWF. Kyle didn't know though that Vince hadn't talked to the girls yet.

After the interview was over, Sandra hugged her brother again and couldn't believe how much he had changed and how big he was now. The first thing Sandra told her brother was that she was so happy to see him again and she apologized for everything she had said in the past to him.

While they were both locked staring at each other, Sandra asked him if she wanted his sister back in his life. Adam didn't say anything right away, then took her in his arms and told her that he always had a sister and that he missed her terribly. Betty was standing there with Jason's arm around her. They smiled at each other because they were so happy to see the family back together again.

When everything was set and done, Adam and Jason were done, but not Sandra and Betty. They had to continue filming and commentating. Adam told Sandra that they would wait for them after the show was over. Betty looked at Adam with stars in her eyes and a big smile. Adam looked back at her and knew that this night would be the first of many great times.

Betty went down to the eighth row again and manned the camera. Sandra went down to sit with J.R. and Jerry. Of course, as soon as Sandra sat down, Jerry was all over Sandra with questions about what just happened with Edge. Sandra knew that it would be coming and she was prepared for it. Sandra answered back with a smile saying that yes, Edge was her long lost brother and she didn't know that he was working for the WWF and that's all is it to it. Jerry was okay with that answer but what he wanted to know was about the lip lock that she had with Christian? He said that everybody knew that Edge and Christian were brothers, which makes Christian her brother too. Sandra hadn't thought about that one and she had to think fast about that question.

Betty came on Sandra's headset and told Sandra to use the story of the half brother. Sandra understood what Betty was telling her and told Jerry about it. That they were really half brother/sister and that they were not blood related.

When Vince heard that, he just smiled again and was ready with his new story line, which would include the two girls and the brothers. The family secret would be their story line.

The show was now over and Sandra couldn't wait to go backstage and talk to her brother. She was looking for him, but there was no sign of him or Jason either. Betty told Sandra that they should go see Vince and explain to him the little stunt that happened that night. They went to Vince's office and knocked at the door. They heard Vince say "Come in". When they opened the door, the girls saw Adam and Jason sitting there with Vince, Linda and Mark. The first thought that came to Sandra's mind was that she had put her brother in trouble and that they were suspended or fired.

When Vince saw the two girls, he invited them to take a seat. Betty looked at Vince and started to apologize for what had happened and before she could finish her sentence, Vince told her that they did a great job. The girls were surprised and didn't understand what was happening.

Vince told them that they had given him the idea for a new story line and that he would need them to go along. The girls didn't know what to say, they had to go back to work in Toronto. Betty told Vince that they had a job already, which it was fun for them to have worked with the WWF for tonight but they had a boss waiting for them. Before Betty could continue, Vince told them that he had talked to Kyle earlier and that he got their bosses approval and that he would hire them. Sandra and Betty were shocked by the news and didn't know what to say. Adam and Jason were as happy as pig in shit and were hoping that the girls would accept the offer.

Sandra looked at Betty and they didn't know what to say. Then Betty looked at Adam and without saying anything, she knew that was what Adam wanted and she told Vince that she accepted. Then Sandra looked at Betty and she still didn't know what to do. She looked at Vince and asked him what they would be doing and Vince told her that they would be doing what they did tonight, interviewer and cameraperson. But Vince didn't tell them that they would be included in the story line and that it was this new idea that he wanted to try, a live story line where you don't know what's gonna happen, just like tonight.

Adam and Jason were up to it, and knew about it, but the girls didn't have to know. Then, after a long reflection, Sandra agreed to it and Vince had both contracts prepared by Linda. The girls signed them and they were now employed by the WWF. Vince gave them a week to get home, get packed and get ready to go on the road.

Later, Adam, Jason, Betty and Sandra decided to go eat and to talk about all those missing years. They ended up in Greektown, not too far from the hotel and sat in a booth. Sandra and Jason sat on one side and on the other were Betty and Adam. They talked about how their careers had started and everything up to present.

Sandra asked Adam about their dad and Adam told her that he didn't know. That after he left with Jason for the WWF training camp, he lost contact with him and the last he heard his dad was in a mental institution. Then came the love life question. Adam asked Sandra if she was married and if he had any nephews or nieces. Sandra looked surprised by the question and told him that she wasn't married, that she hadn't had time for that. She then returned the question to him, which Betty was really interested into. Adam told her that he hadn't had time either with his career and while he said that, he looked at Betty with a big smile that she returned to him.

Jason was there sitting and not saying a word, so Sandra turned to him and asked if he was in a relationship, and while she was asking him, she put her hand on his lap. Jason looked at her and with a smile told her that he was as free as a bird and he put his hand on her lap. They both looked deeply into each other's eyes and almost brought their lips together when Adam coughed to interrupt them.

Betty started laughing and knew that it wouldn't take too long before those two would get together. Betty's feeling for Adam never changed and she hoped that it would be the same for him. After their meal, they decided to go back to the hotel bar and sit and talk a bit before going to bed. Sandra needed to talk to Adam, but also, needed to talk to Jason. When they arrived at the bar, Sandra told Adam that she needed to talk to him for a moment, leaving Betty and Jason to speak also. They decided to go sit at a booth and talk also, while they would wait for Sandra and Adam.

Betty was really happy that they had found each other and she wanted to know everything of how they became wrestlers. Jason told her everything since they lost contact. While they were talking, Jason mentioned to Betty that several times, while they were doing shows in Toronto, he wanted to call Sandra at the office, but didn't want to do it behind Adam's back. He knew too well how Adam was hurt when Sandra told him her last words and his friendship with Adam was more important to him. Betty asked Jason how he knew about them working for the magazine, and Jason explained to Betty how one day, he was looking at magazines and flipping through one, he saw Betty's name next to one picture and then he saw Sandra's name at the beginning of the article. Since that day, he buys the magazine every moth.

He then looked at Betty and asked her is she knew if there could still be a chance between him and Sandra. Betty didn't want to jump too deeply into that subject, so she told Jason that Sandra hadn't been with anybody yet and that she had always said that she would wait for the one that she would marry. Jason got a grin on his face. Betty said to Jason that Sandra never loved anybody like she loved him before they went their separate ways. Betty grabbed Jason's hand and told him to go and talk to Sandra and this time, not to let her go.

On the other side of the bar, Sandra and Adam were talking things out about their past and how they would not make the same mistake again. Also, Adam wanted to apologize for what happened when he stood up on his father's side when they found out about the affair and how he said that it was something that guys should do. Adam told Sandra also that he taught a lot this past three years and he would never do this to his wife.

Talking about wife, Sandra asked Adam if he was into any relationship and Adam told her that he never got into a serious relationship. That Jason and himself have been sleeping around while traveling from state to state, but nothing serious. That last sentence hurt Sandra because she heard a lot about professional players and artists and she never thought that her brother would be doing it too. After thinking about it, she remembered the words that Adam had told her the last day that they talked and then she changed her mind. But she was shocked when she heard that Jason too was into that thing. That news hurt Sandra because she never loved anybody else other than Jason and she always believed that he was the one for her.

But little that Adam knew about Jason's extreme life, he didn't know that Jason was still a virgin. Jason would tell stories to Adam so that way, he would feel on the same level and not getting harassed by all the guys. He never actually did do whatever he was telling the guys. For Jason, he wanted Sandra to be his first one, and to have his first experience with her.
