B's Christmas Surprise
Written by Lady Cat

Part I

Poor B. Here she was lying in bed, her foot in a cast and propped on a couple of pillows. She had already watched three movies and was getting bored out of her mind. All her plans for Christmas were now shot to hell. Usually at times like this she would come up with a short fan fic story, but with Edge still out, Rock doing movies, and Taker out there just was no inspiration to write.

The phone rang. It was Cat. "Just called to see how you were." B told her of the situation. "I know all too well that feeling. Wouldn’t it be a hoot if Edge or Rock would show up," Cat commented.

"What I wouldn’t give for that," B said. "But we know that will never happen."

B told the girls on the list the same thing. "Yeah, too bad," Jade said.

Now, the list knew that there were some who were members of the list but never said anything. And they knew that some were wrestlers, some were people who happened to check groups lists on the web to see what they were talking about. These same people knew that B had a web site and were always checking it to see what updates she had done as they were very impressed by its setup, especially the pics of the wrestlers and, sometimes the fan fic that was written. One of these 'people' was reading the emails with great interest, knowing that B was a big fan of Edge and the Rock . . . especially the Rock. By coincidence, this very person happened to know the Rock and where he was at the time.

Part 2

Rock was in Tennessee working on his new movie and had gone to his trailer to take a short nap before resuming filming. He hadn’t slept long when he heard a knock on his trailer door. "Go away! I want to sleep for a bit."

"Rock, there’s a phone call for you. It’s from the WWE."

"Wonder what they want?"

Rock followed the worker to the director’s trailer and picked up. "Rock here. Hey, man, hadn’t heard from you in a while. What’s going on?" Rock listened as his friend explained . "She’s a big fan of yours, Rock. How ‘bout it?"

"She’s a big fan of mine, huh?"

"She really is."

"Okay. Why not? Anything for the Rock’s fans. You got her address?"

"No, but I’ll get it somehow. I’ll call you back."

Part III

"Now, how am I going to get her address without her becoming suspicious?" Rock’s friend got back on the computer. He knew B had moved and hadn’t put her new address on the web. "Hmmm, she moved to Florida, but where?"

One day one of the secretaries happened to deliver some papers to his office and found him preoccupied and didn’t notice her at first. Without making it obvious she looked at his computer screen and noticed he was checking emails from what looked to be a web group fan list. She saw it was the anything-Undertaker list.

Whether it was just fate or pure luck, she happened to know who ran the list as she was a good friend of hers. "Damn, can’t think of how to find her without letting them know," he said out loud. Finally he noticed her standing there. "Oh, sorry," and took the envelope from her.

"I couldn’t help but notice your computer screen," she said. "I know who runs the list."

He turned. "You do?"

"Sure. I’ve known B for a long time."

He thought why not tell her. "Too bad I can’t find her address."
>br> "I know her address," she said. "I was meaning to fly down and see her."

"When?" "At least a couple of days before Christmas. You and the Rock could come Christmas Day. I’ll just have to be ready with the smelling salts. It’s for sure she’ll pass out when she sees him," she laughed.

"Perfect."

Rock smiled when he heard the plan. "I’ll be there around 3:00."

Part IV

B was happy to see her friend and they spent the next couple of days reminiscing about old times. Christmas Day B noticed her friend was a little more excited than usual. "Why so excited?" B asked.

"Well, I have a very special Christmas present for you."

"Where is it?"

"It hasn’t come yet," she replied. "It should be here in a little while."

B settled herself on the couch and propped her leg on the pillows. Around 3:00 there was a knock. Her friend answered the door. "B, close your eyes for a minute."

"What for?"

"Just close them for a bit." Her friend motioned the visitors in.

"Okay, you can open them."

B opened her eyes. She rubbed her eyes to see if it was real. There was the Rock, with his friend, smiling that beautiful smile he was so noted for. He came over to the couch and sat next to her and took her hand. B’s mouth dropped to her chin. Her voice left her as he put her hand to his lips and kissed it. "Hello B. The Rock wanted to come by and wish you a Merry Christmas." The sound of his smooth, sexy, voice made her skin break out in goose bumps all over. The Rock smiled. B still could not speak.

Her friend shook her shoulder. "B?"

"Huh," B replied dazed.

"Give her a minute," her friend said. She gave Rock a permanent marker. "Could you sign her cast?"

Rock took the marker and wrote his name in big letters on her cast. B watched as he slowly signed her cast. "It really is you! How?"

"Let’s say Santa told me," he replied, showing his pearly whites.

B’s friend got her camera out. "Okay, let’s get a couple of shots. B, think you can set up straight?"

Rock got off the couch and helped B into an upright position, then sat very close with his arm around her. B put her head on his shoulder as her friend snapped away. It was time for the Rock to leave, but not before giving her a kiss on the cheek, which her friend got a picture of.

"Thank you," B said, wishing the Rock could stay longer.

"Anything for one of my biggest fans," he said, then cocked his brow as he went out the door.

"Well, how was that?" her friend asked.

"OH MY GOD!" B exclaimed. "To think he came here to see me! I’ll never forget it ever!"

"As soon as I get the pictures developed, I’ll have one of them blown up for your wall."

"Christmas day didn’t turn out so bad after all. I think I’ll take a small nap." She laid back on the couch and closed her eyes, a big smile on her face as she again felt his lips on her cheek.
