It started on February 17, 2004, with an e-mail sent to the Crypt by a reader named Jocelyn which read:

Hi I have a favor to ask you. My son is 5 yrs old and has Autism. He LOVES Ray Mysterio and I was wonderng if you can send me some of the photos you have from your site. I live in Canada and can't find a poster or anything here for him to look at. Thank you very much for reading. Hope to hear from you soon.

This touched me very much so I asked her for her address and a pix of Jeviel. I told her that I would see what could be done to send her son a "care package".

Her reply was: Thank you VERY VERY much!!! His name is Jeviel Lucas

Oh he would love anything that has to do with Ray Mysterio. He watches his older brother play the Play station video game and all he says is RAY MYSTERIO, RAY MYSTERIO.

I sent an e-mail to my "Partners in Crime" on the Anything-Undertaker list and within a few weeks I was bombarded with photos and art of Rey Mysterio. I purchased a Rey Mysterio doll for him and the package was ready to go in a few days.

I sent an e-mail to Jocelyn which stated:

Hi Jocelyne,
Jeviel's Surprise Package has been sent today. He should get it (hopefully) within the next week or week and a half.

I hope he enjoys it. One favor I ask. Please take a pix or two of him opening the gift. I would love to see his expression when he sees what's inside and I'm sure the ladies on the list would also love to see it.

When you send them to me I will be posting them on the Crypt under a new section I will be opening.

Take care and I'm glad I will be able to put a smile on your son's face.

About 2 1/2 weeks after the package was sent I received another e-mail from Jocelyn which read:

Lady B,
Jeviel and I want to THANK YOU and your lady friends for the package of photos and REY Figure..... Jeviel as you can see in the photos was very excited to see REY MYSTERIO. We have the photos up in his room and he takes the REY figure everywhere.

So THANKS YOU AGAIN for you thoughtfulness and kindness towards my son. I will never forget it.

Jeviel and His brother loved the photos...They go good in their room, they share a room. Jeviel will not let anyone else see Rey for very long. He carries him (meaning the doll) everywhere. Let me know when you get the photos up on the website.
