Betty and Storm had been friends since the second grade in California. They were inseparable. Where there was one you could bet the other was not too far away. Betty was not very tall (standing only at 5'2"), slim with dark brown hair and eyes. Betty was a construction worker and had just applied for a job with the WWF as Chief of the Construction Crew.
She was talking on the phone with Storm and letting her know that she had just been hired to take over as construction chief of the sets at the WWF. "That's great!" Storm said. "Tell me all about it. What will you be doing?" " I will be in charge of making sure that all the sets are constructed and all stunts go off without a hitch. It will entail my having to arrive at 2:00 p.m. at whatever arena the WWF will be performing at and making sure everything is ready by 7:00 p.m. for the 8:00 p.m. starts. If the events are during the day, then the times will be changed accordingly." "I will be the only one from the construction crew who will get to fly to the areas with the wrestlers and stay in the same hotel that they stay." "Wow! Now you can introduce me to the love of my life Kane". "Take it easy, let me at least get to work and see how everything is there. I don=t know how I will do that, but trust
me you will get to meet Kane". "What will you do when you finally meet the Undertaker for the first time? asked Storm?" I don=t know, maybe just die." You know that I have been in love with that man for the longest time." "Yeah, I know" answered Storm.
"I can just see us now, both of us with those hunks. God, I could just die" said Storm. "Please Storm, don=t do this to me, I am nervous enough just thinking that I will be in charge of all those guys in the construction crew, I don=t want to have to go around looking like a love lost puppy thinking about the Taker while I am at work." "Well, you have got to let me know everything as soon as you get home from work" said Storm". "I won=t be home until at least 1:00 a.m., because after tomorrow=s show the set has to come down to be transported to Madison Square Garden in New York where I will have to be to make sure that it goes up right". "I am so jealous" said Storm, "you get to travel with them to where they will be performing and be there to see them." "Yeah, lucky me. I won't be surprised if I see the UT and wind up hammering my hand to a board or something." At that they both laughed.
" I will try to call you as soon as I can and give you all the lowdown", said Betty. "Great, don=t keep me in suspense for too long." With that they hung up.
Storm went to sleep with visions of herself and Kane walking arm in arm and him holding and kissing her.
Betty was just too nervous to sleep. She kept wondering what it would be like to finally be near the man she had dreamed about for a long time but could never have. To be able to talk to him and look upon his gorgeous face. She finally fell asleep with a smile on her face.
