Chapter II

Kane and Taker had been signing for what seemed like hours. After an hour the fans were beginning to thin out. The guys were thinking to themselves its about time. The match had taken a lot out of them and then signing autographs made them even more tired.

"I'm glad it's almost over." Taker told Kane. "My shoulder is giving me fits."

"Getting old?" Kane remarked.

Taker looked at Kane with a scowl on his face. "No, I'm not getting old. I hit the steps the wrong way. I can barely move my shoulder."

Sharon and Margaret saw the crowd was thinning out, so they thought now is a good time.

Sharon went over to Kane. "Do you think you could possibly sign one more?" she asked. Kane didn't really feel like it, but he figured one more wouldn't hurt.

Margaret asked Taker for his. She was seeing how he tried to move his shoulder, seeing the pain in his face. Taker looked at her and shook his head no. Without say a word, she figured he had a cramp in his shoulder and started to massage it. Taker closed his eyes. "Oh, that feels good," he thought to himself. He could feel his shoulder getting better, more relaxed and better able to move.

He nodded off for a couple of minutes. When he woke up, only Kane and a couple of workers were there.

"What happened?"

"You were getting a shoulder rub from a woman."

"Oh yeah, where did she go?"

"I don't know. When you nodded off, she left."

Taker remembered. She had asked him for his autograph and had refused her. He felt bad about that.

On the way home, Margaret didn't say a word. Sharon knew she was disappointed, but had been nice enough to give him a massage. Then she left, not waiting around.

"I know you really wanted his autograph. Maybe next time." "Yeah, maybe next time."

They went back to their routine, no more being said about it. A couple of months passed. Word was going around on the internet that the WWF was looking for people. The girls didn't believe it was true. They checked the web site. Sure enough, in JR's report, he was talking about the WWF was looking for people who could travel with the show. JR gave a site as to where to look. There were a good number of jobs listed. The girls felt they had the qualifications so they applied. It took about three weeks, but the girls heard from the company. They were given dates as to when to come for their interview.

After filling out the standard forms, they were interviewed by the head of personnel. It took about an hour for each of them to be interviewed. They were told they would hear from them in about three weeks.
