Okay....I met the Rock on Sunday, January 9th, 2000 at the HyperMart in Kansas City, Missouri during a books signing. My best friend Melara and I got there, and ran through the parking lot to get in line. Some idiot told us to get in a different line, as the line he was in was the middle of the actual line. Unfortunately, we did that, and ended up farther down than we would've been if we would've stayed where we were. Then an employee told us that the Rock was only signing books that were purchased there that day, so I gave Melara $20 and told her to find the area where they were selling the books and get one. She took off running and came back about 20-30 minutes later, panting and holding a book. We had brought a notebook for as many autographs as we could get, and Melara brought her WWF The Music Volume 4 CD for him to sign. We also brought a camera. We took turns leaving the line to try to spot The Great One, until I finally found him....I kept yelling at the cops and security to move so I could get pics of him, but they wouldn't. I was mad at them, but ran back to Melara screaming, "OhmiGod! I saw him!!!!" and we were so thrilled! We ended up waiting in line for almost 4 hours, then we finally got to the table. Someone took the book and set it in front of Rocky to be signed. He looked up at us, smiled and asked, "How are you lovely ladies doing today?" I couldn't answer him! I finally asked, "Is it okay if I take a close-up pic of you?" and he said, " Why, of course, young lady. Go right ahead!" and gave me The People's Eyebrow. The security guards were physically pushing us away, so I turned and quickly snapped a picture before we ran off screaming like starstruck teens. We immediately came back to my house and got ready for the show. While there, Buh-Buh Ray Dudley called me a stupid b**** and threatened to kick my ass, which caused him to actually fight instead of "work". Then The Rock came out for his title match against HHH. He came walking down The People's Ramp, and I screamed "Hey Dwayne!" at him, which caused him to turn his head to look at me. Melara snapped a pic of it. The Big Show actually slapped my hand, but he acted like it was a chore that he didn't want or like to do. All in all, it was a good show, and the best day of my life. Now I am hoping to meet Kane, Taker, the Hardys, Edge, Christian, Val Venis, Chyna, and various other superstars and possibly have better experiences. And I won't forget to tell Glenn and Mark that I am a Bride just to see what they do and say.
