The Round Robin Story Written By Lady B & Lady Cat
Chapter 2 - Lady Cat
All the flights came within 30 minutes of each other. The girls were glad to see each other as it had been quite sometime since they had last seen each other. After picking up their luggage, they waited for the van.
About 20 minutes later, a huge limo pulled up with a van right behind. Everyone was wondering who the limo belong to. It was a beautiful white limo. A gentleman got out of the back and came in. When he spotted the girls (Margaret had a sign saying Moontribes) he came over and introduced himself as Mr. Harvest with the WWF and thanked the girls for coming. Margaret introduced herself and the girls. To say they all were shocked would be an understatement. Instead of a van, the WWF had sent a limo that would hold at least 10 people. The luggage was sent to the hotel in the van.
The inside was just beautiful. It was plush velvet with a bar, television, computer, and a phone. Some of the girls had to pinch themselves to see if this was for real. Even Margaret had been surprised. It seemed the WWF treated its guests very well. Mr. Harvest told them they would be going out to dinner that night, courtesy of the WWF, which owned a restaurant there.
He gave them each a schedule of what their week would be like. There was the usual tour of the company offices and such. The second day would consist of the girls getting to read their story in front of the committee that had selected it. Margaret had made sure to make copies of the story
so that each girl would be able to read her part. In the schedule was included a trip to a WWF live event (which would be televised) being held in Hartford. All the girls were excited about this. He said they would be sitting behind the announcer's table so they would have a ringside view of the matches. Afterwards they would go backstage to a special party planned for them and they would get to meet the wrestlers.
It was going to be a busy week for them. Lady B and Margaret were wondering if maybe, just by chance, they would get to meet their favorite wrestlers. They had been e-mailing each other back and forth when word had come about the round-robin story being accepted for publication. Lady B had to calm Margaret down somewhat as she was just as nervous as the rest of them."Calm down, Lady Cat. I know you're excited but at least stay sane for the sake of the rest of them." Lady B was always so calm and collected.
Margaret had brought along one of her stories (At Last Paradise). She wanted Mr. Harvest to see if maybe it could be published also, with permission from the wrestlers, as it contained a lot of them and her moontribe sisters. She wanted to surprise the girls as she was dedicating it to them.
Twenty minutes later they were at the hotel. One whole floor had been given over to them. It was the top floor, which was reserved for special visitors and high ranking business people. Each girl had been given her own room.
