The Round Robin Story Written By Lady B & Lady Cat
Chapter 3 - Lady B
As each of the sisters went into her room she found a bouquet of flowers addressed to them courtesy of the WWF with a note attached to it stating to be ready at 6:00 p.m to be picked up and taken to dinner with Vince, Linda and Shane McMahon. Marta walked out of her room, note in hand and found Lady B, Lady Cat, Kaliegh and Odious standing in the hallway comparing notes. "It seems that the McMahon family wants to check us out over dinner" Odious said as Marta approached. "But why?" Lady Cat added. "Did you ever think that maybe they think we are a bunch of crazy, fatal attraction type of women who are out to destroy them by stealing their wrestlers?" Lady B said jokingly as she made a face and wiggled her fingers. That started them all laughing. "Nah, I don't think so" Marta said, between laughter. "I just think they want to know what type of writers they will be
dealing with" Cenny added as she also joined the group. "Hey what's going on here, what's all the laughter about?" Mrs. Undertaker said looking at her invitation as she too joined the rest of the girls in the hallway. "We're just trying to figure out why the McMahon's have invited us to dine with them tonight" Lady B answered. "Come on girls, we only have about an hour to get ready" Lady Cat said as she walked towards her room. All the sisters went to get dressed for their dinner meeting with the McMahons.
At precisely 5:55 p.m. a white limousine pulled up outside of the hotel as all the sisters waited in the lobby. The same driver who had picked them up at the airport went inside and asked them "Are you ladies ready to dine with the McMahon's?" "We sure are" Cenny said. "Please follow me then" he said as he stepped outside and opened the door to the limousine. They all got in and he closed the door. He drove off as the girls settled in. They talked about what awaited them when they arrived at their destination. The driver pulled up to a beautiful house at the end of a cul-de-sac. He got out and opened the door for the girls. As they stepped out the limo, Vince came out of the house and introduced himself. He shook hands with all of them and was very cordial. He ushered them into the house where they were greeted by Linda and Shane. "So you are the ladies who have provided us with that amazing story"
Linda said as she shook hands with all the sisters. "Thank you for inviting us to your home" Lady Cat said as Linda shook her hand.
They were ushered into a sitting room and offered cocktails by a bartender who stood behind a portable bar. After each of them had accepted the drink of their choice Vince turned to them and said "The reason I have brought you here is because I have been informed by my publishing company that you ladies own web sites where various fictional works of your own have been posted and I want to ask you if you would give me permission to have all of your stories dealing with the wrestlers posted in a series of books. I also want to know if you (meaning each respective writer) would be willing to read their story when we go into the production of the stories as audio tapes." All the sisters looked at each other and Kaliegh said "I know I speak for myself and for the sisters, and we are honored that you would even entertain the notion of putting our stories into print and audio tapes. But to answer your question,
of course we would."she added. "Good. Now that that is settled, lets enjoy the evening. Are you ladies ready to dine?" he asked. They all nodded their heads and Linda opened the doors leading to a dining room that could very comfortable seat 20 to 30 people. The table had been set with candelabra along the center interspersed with floral arrangements. The dishes, glassware and dinnerware sparkled under the low lights from the chandeliers which hung from the ceiling along the same area as the huge dining table. The girls looked at each other and saw that there were name places by the plates indicating where each was to sit. It wound up that Lady B and Lady Cat where sitting on either side of Vince. Kaliegh and Cenny were on either side of Linda. Shane was surrounded by Odious and Mrs. Undertaker while Marta sat across from Shane. They ate and talked through a five course meal which was served by waiters in
white jackets and gloves. After they had their dessert and the dishes where cleared they were once again ushered to a large living room. They could hear soft music coming from somewhere but since no speakers where visible they couldn't figure out where the music came from.
They had after dinner drinks while Linda, Vince and Shane circulated amongst the group asking questions about their web sites and what had made them decide to make their sites about wrestling. They were asked what inspired them to write about the WWF wrestlers. They also talked about the art in the sites and various other topics. By 10:00 p.m. the limo was once again outside and they were all bid goodnight as they where accompanied to the limo by all three McMahons. The sisters thanked the McMahons for their hospitality and Vince told them that they would see the girls the next day at their corporate offices as the girls got into the limo.
"They seem like nice enough girls" Linda said as she, her husband and her son turned to walk back into the house. "Yeah, but there seems to be some mix matches compared to their story. I really think Lady B would make a better couple with Edge as in her story which I read." Shane said. "I see Margaret with Taker like they were in the her story" Linda said. "I can picture Cenny with Bradshaw, Odious with Matt and Marta with Jeff" Vince added. The only two that they got right was Kaliegh with Kane and Sandra with Christian" Shane said as they all laughed and walked towards the entrance. "Guess we will have to take care of that" Vince said as he followed both Linda and Shane inside.
