The Round Robin Story Written By Lady B & Lady Cat
Chapter 4 - Lady Cat
Lady Cat was quiet on the way back to the hotel. Something strange was going on. The McMahons are nice, but some of the questions they asked were odd. She was so busy thinking she didn't hear Lady B talking to her.
"Lady Cat, what did you think about the McMahons?"
Lady B looked at her. She could see Lady Cat was in another world.
"Lady Cat, did you hear me?!"
Lady Cat turned and shook her head. "What? Did you say something?"
"Yes. I asked what do you think about the McMahons?"
"They were the perfect host and hostess. I thought it was nice of them to invite us to their home instead of a restaurant. They treated us as if we were very special. That's usually not what people in their position do. I noticed Odious, Marta, and Mrs. Undertaker laughing at the jokes Shane
told. All in all, it was a nice evening. I enjoyed myself."
The girls went on about if Vince would really read their stories. Some of the stories were rather risque and sexually explicit, but they felt that's all they were, stories, and not to be taken seriously. They were pretty sure that only certain ones would be used for audiotapes and publication.
When they were dropped off at the hotel, they were told the limo would come to pick them up at 10:00 and take them to the offices for their tour.
As each sister when to her room, each thought about what they were told by Vince. This week was going to be very different than what they had originally thought. All their stories wree going to be published, then reading their own creations for audiotapes. It was too much for Cenny and
Marta. They were squealing with excitement. Odious and Mrs. Undertaker felt they wouldn't be able to sleep. Kaleigh didn't want anybody to know she was nervous. Lady B was excited too, but noticed that Lady Cat was as nervous and fidgety as a real cat. She wanted to know what else Lady Cat had been thinking on the way back. She knocked on Lady Cat's door.
"Lady Cat, is something wrong?" On the way back you seemed to be in another world. Whatwere you thinking about?"
"Lady B, didn't you find it rather odd some of the questions that were asked? I don't know, maybe I'm just not looking at this right. I get the feeling there's more to this than what we're seeing or what they're telling us. I could be just imagining this too. My intuition may be just a bit
haywire from all the excitement. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to put a damper on the any of the other girls' excitement. I could be making a mountain out of a molehill so to speak."
"Don't worry about it. We'll just go with the flow and see what happens." Lady B said.
"I guess so. I'll just have to learn to relax more."
Lady B returned to her room. The girls retired for the night, each dreaming about the next day. Lady B was still worried about Lady Cat. She knew Lady Cat was never like this unless something was up. "Look at me. Now I'm wondering about this." Finally, both Lady B and Lady Cat went to sleep.
