He held me while I regained my composure,
wiped the tears from my cheeks,and didn't say anything when my runny
nose dripped on his shirt,He reached for the tissues,wiped his
shirt,then put one to my nose and said,"Blow".
for some reason this struck me as funny,and I started to giggle,
"What's funny?".
I just shook my head,not wanting to explain at the moment.
"Where's Kane?"
"He's right over there having coffee with Mary,they seem to be enjoying
themselves."
"Good,Mary said she would show him around"
Being the first time Mary heard about this,she was a little
surprised,"What was that you said,dear?",she asked.
"Well,sweetie,Kane wants to see some of the sights,I told Mark you
would'nt mind being his
guide,you will won't you?".
Kane looked at her and smiled,"I'd be glad to".
I had to smile,I knew she was loving this!
Mark helped me to my feet,saying,"Come on you have'n even met him
yet,don't worry,I told him you would probably look like hell right
now".
This statement brought a fresh round of giggles,
and a poke in the ribs for Mark.
We went to the table and as I sat down Kane said,"Nice to finaly meet
you Sharon,you look stunning,as does Mary",looking back at her.
I groaned,With my arms and overly large flannel shirt wrapped around
me.
Mark sat down across from me and smiled that wonderful smile of his.
Kane and Mary continued thier conversation.I had no clue what they were
talking about.I looked up to see Mark lookng at me,our eyes met,and
held
each others gaze,again silently,
he mouthed the words,"I love you".I quickly lowered my head.
"If everyone will excuse me,I'm going to have a nice hot
shower,maybe that will warm me up".
Almost in unison,Kane and Mary said,"No problem".They smiled at each
other,Mark smiled at me,I got up and went to shower.
"Mark",Mary said,"She might need some help,she is in a weakened
condition".
They exchanged,little wicked grins,"Your right,I should go and make
sure
she's okay!".
Mark got up and came to the bathroom.
Kane looked at Mary,smiling again,making her blush lightly,"When
would you like to start your tour?
Kane answered,"Whenever your ready".
"Are'nt you tired from the trip",she asked.
"No,I slept on the plane".
Mary left a note saying where they were going
and that she would be back in time to cook.Then they were out the door.
I had just got the water running and started to undress,when
Mark
came in.I turned away,trying to hide myself.He came to me and put his
arms around me,"Don't hide from me,"he said.
And kissed me gently on the cheek.He reached in and turned off the
shower,and started a bath.He took me in his arms again,
and started to nuzzle and kiss my neck.
"Mary says your in a weakened condition,and I
should help you,I think a bath would be better for you".,,,,,Mary's way
of getting back at me for surprising her with Kane.
He finished undressing me and helped me into the tub.He started to
kneel
down,then as if remembering the past,he stood up,took his shirt off,and
then kneeled down next to me.
He put an arm around my shoulders,I leaned against his chest,and he
started washing me.
As bad as I felt I couldn't help but wonder,if his fingers would work
their magic again.
