Tamia’s
Nightmare

Chapter
1
"Can you believe it? It's our first day of high school! I never thought
we'd get here!" Stacy said excitedly. Tamia followed Stacy up the steps to
the front doors, listening to her excited chatter. Tamia was extremely nervous.
She was excited about being in high school, but she was worried about a lot of
things. "What about my classes, are the teachers nice, will the other kids
like me, will the older kids pick on me?" she thought to herself. All of
those questions and more swirled around inside of her head. "I guess I'll
find out," she mumbled as her and Stacy entered the school.
"Well...here goes nothing," she thought as they started down the hall
through the crowd of students.
The bell rang and the students all filed out of the classrooms. They had 8
classes and so far, they had gone through 7. Stacy and Tamia couldn't wait for
8th period. That was the only class they had together. "I can't wait for
this day to be over!" Stacy groaned. They walked into the classroom and
took a seat in the back. Tamia watched the rest of the class as she waited for
class to begin. "Where's the teacher?" she wondered to herself. The
bell rang and still no teacher. About 5 minutes later, the teacher walked in.
The talking stopped and all eyes were on him. No one said a word.
Tamia stared at the man standing in front on the class. "He's our
teacher?" she asked Stacy. "I guess," Stacy answered. "He's
huge!" Tamia exclaimed. "He used to be a wrestler," a girl
whispered to her. Tamia looked at her. "Hi, I'm Shannon. I'm a
senior," the girl said. "I'm Tamia and that's Stacy," she
replied, pointing to her left at Stacy, who gave Shannon a small wave and a
smile. Shannon smiled and waved back. "So...he used to be a
wrestler?" Tamia asked. "Yep. Supposively, he's thinking about going
back. Says he misses it." Their conversation was interrupted by one of the
boys in class. "It's about time Mr. C, you're late. That's a tardy! Detention!"
Tamia guessed the boy to be a senior. "Alright Mr. Snyder, that's
enough," the teacher said, smiling. "Okay, welcome to Anatomy! For
those of you who have never had me before, my name is Mr. Calaway. Or, as I'm
sure you all heard Branson's wonderful example, you may call me Mr. C,
whichever you prefer. I'm an easy guy to get along with, until you piss me off
and get on my bad side! If you do that, you time spent in my class will be
miserable." Tamia's eyes widened. She had never had a teacher say things
like, "...until you piss me off..." She had to admit that she was a
little frightened of Mr. Calaway. She looked at him and tried to envision him
being a wrestler. He was wearing a suit and his long auburn hair was neatly
braided. He had a goatee, which Tamia though looked good. His attitude seemed
to be that of a wrestler. She was pulled from her thoughts by the teacher once
again speaking.
Chapter

"Tamia...dinner is ready," Tamia's mother called up the stairs.
"I gotta go Stace, dinner's ready," Tamia said into the phone.
"Alright, don't forget to pick me up in the morning. Can you believe that
we're juniors already?" Stacy said. "I know, time is going by really
fast." "Yeah, I know. Anyway, I better let you go. I can't wait for
the first day!" "Bye," Tamia said. "Bye," replied
Stacy, just before Tamia hung up. She looked down at her schedule again, for
what must have been the hundreth time, and sighed. Mr. Calaway was teaching
Anatomy AND Study hall this year. Tamia had both classes. She liked Anatomy and
she wanted a study hall to make sure that she got all of her work done. But she
didn't really want Mr. Calaway as a teacher. He always seemed nice and
everything, but she was scared of him. She was intimidated by his size and she
didn't like it. "Who wouldn't be intimidated?" she asked herself. But
those were just the little problems. The big problem was that some time during
the 2 years that she's had him as a teacher, she started liking him. She knew
it was wrong to feel that way about a teacher but she couldn't help it. And
what's worse, is he bacame the basketball coach for the girls' team last year.
Tamia had been on the basket ball team since her freshman year.
"Bye Mom, bye dad," Tamia said kissing each of her parents on the
cheek. "You're leaving already?" her mom asked. "Yeah...I have
to pick Stace up," Tamia replied. "Well, alright honey, we'll see you
in a couple of days," her mom said, giving her a hug. "Okay, have fun
on the trip," Tamia said walking to the door. "Love you," her
parents said. "Love you too," she replied, walking out the door.
Tamia and Stacy arrived at the school an hour later. "So...you're parents
are leaving on that business trip today, huh?" Stacy asked.
"Yeah...they'll be gone until the end of the week," Tamia replied.
"Cool...we should have a party!" Stacy suggested excitedly. Tamia
just laughed at her.
It was time for Anatomy and the girls walked into class together. They sat in
the same seats, in the back of the room, as they had their freshman year.
Everyone chatted noisily until Mr. Calaway walked in. Class started a few
minutes after. Mr. Calaway did his usual lecture and started asking questions.
"I wonder why he never calls on me?" Tamia wondered. When he was done
he gave the class an assignment.
I wonder why she's so quiet?" Maybe she's just shy? She's so pretty. Long,
tan legs that lead up to...stop it! You shouldn't be thinking like that!"
he said to himself. He sat up straighter behind his desk and began grading
papers.
The bell rang to go home and the kids fled from their classrooms. Tamia was in
no hurry to get home so she slowly grabbed her book and casually walked out of
the classroom. She got to her locker and grabbed all of her books. She had a
ton of homework. She began to walk away. She made it to the top of the stairs
before she dropped her purse. Once she dropped that everything else fell out of
her arms. By this time everyone was gone. She was glad for that cause she would
be really embarrassed. Mr. Calaway stood from his classroom door and watched
Tamia stuggle with her things. When she started down the stairs, he headed in
her direction.
Tamia was down on her knees picking up all of the stuff that fell out of her
purse. She crawled over to where her wallet was. She stopped when she saw a
pair of shoes in front of her. Mr. Calaway knelt down and Tamia found herself
face to face with him. He looked away and grabbed her wallet, gently handing it
to her. "Thank you Mr. Calaway," she said, sitting on her knees.
"No problem. I saw what happened. Thought I'd come over and help ya,"
he replied. She stood up grabbing her purse. She turned around intending to
pick up her books, and found Mr. Calaway holding them. He handed them to her
and she took them. He shivered when their hands touched. She said thank you
again and then walked out the front doors to her car.
Chapter
3
"Can you give me a ride home?" Stacy asked once her and Tamia were
seated. Tamia sighed heavily, frustrated at not being able to get her anatomy
paper done the night before. "I can't Stace, I have to stay after school
today." "What's wrong?" "I didn't get my paper done,"
Tamia replied. "Oh...don't worry Mia, I'm sure Mr. C. will
understand," Stacy said trying to cheer her up. "I hope," she replied
as class began.
At the end of class, Tamia walked nervously up to Mr. Calaway's desk.
"Umm...Mr. Calaway?" she asked. Mark looked up from the papers he was
grading. He was surprised to see Tamia standing in front of him. "Yes,
Tamia?" he asked. "Ummm...could...could you help me on my paper...please?"
"Of course," Mark replied. "Just come around here and sit
down." Tamia walked around his desk and sat down on a chair that was next
to him.
"Now...what is it that you need help with?" Tamia started to tell him
what she needed help with. He happened to glance down while she was talking,
and noticed that she was wearing a very short skirt. He couldn't help but stare
at her. "She's beautiful for such a young girl," he thought to
himself. "...and I just don't get it," Tamia finished, bringing him
back to reality. "Umm...okay, let's see," he started. Tamia knew that
he had been staring at her and she felt extremely uncomfortable.
About a half an hour later Tamia had her paper written, with Mr. Calaway's help
of course. She stood up, stretching her amrs and legs and thanked Mr. Calaway.
She was anxious to get out of there. Her parents were coming home today from
their business trip and she couldn't wait to see them. She looked up at the
t.v. that Mr. Calaway had on. He always had it on the news channel. Just then a
newsbreak came on. "We have just recieved word that flight 457 has crashed
during take off! Please stay tuned, as we recieve information, we'll keep you
updated." "Oh God," Tamia said to herself. She prayed that that
wasn't her parents' flight. She turned to leave as she grabbed her books off of
the desk. Just then a police officer walked into the room, looking straight at
her.
"Excuse me?" The police officer said. Mark looked up once again from
the papers that he was grading. At seeing the police officer, he stood up.
"Ms. Stevenson?" the police officer asked. "Yes?" Tamia
said. "I'm afraid I have some bad news. It's your parents. They were
killed in a plane crash." The officer said as gently as he could. Mark
couldn't hear what they were saying, because the officer was talking too low.
Tamia shook her head, not wanting to believe what she had just heard.
"No...that...that can't be," she said backing up. She dropped her
books as she backed into Mr. Calaway. "I'm sorry," the officer said.
"No...No...No!" Tamia said as she started to cry. She could feel her
legs shaking and finally collapsing. Mark caught her before she actually hit
the floor. She was crying too hard to notice that she had collapsed and that
Mr. Calaway was holding her. The officer gave them a sad look, knowing that
this was very difficult for the young girl. Looking at the teacher he quietly
left the room.
Mark didn't know what exactly happened. All he knew was that it was something
pretty bad. He then remembered the newsbreak on t.v. about the plane crash. He
figured someone close to her must have died. "Who was it, Tamia?" he
asked softly. "My parents," she said as she continued to cry even
harder. Mark felt really bad for her. To lose both parents, at once, in such a
horrible way. He held her tighter as she cried. Just then he remembered that
some of the guys were coming by the school. It was Friday and they had a couple
of days off this weekend. Just as he thought about it, a group of huge men
walked into the room. There was Glen a.k.a. kane, Hunter a.k.a. Triple H, Steve
a.k.a. Stone Cold, Brock Lesnar, and Shawn a.k.a. HBK. They all stopped dead in
their tracks at seeing their friend, on the floor, holding a beautiful young
girl, who was crying her heart out. They still couldn't believe that their good
friend and fellow wrestler had become a teacher. And now he's holding this
young girl, who they assumed to be one of his students. They gave him a
questioning look and he just shook his head.
Tamia couldn't believe it. Her parents, both dead. What was she going to do?
She buried her face in Mark's chest and grabbed onto his shirt as she continued
to cry. "It's alright. Shhh...it's okay," he said soothingly. Finally
realizing who it was that was holding her, she pulled back from him. Mark
reached up onto his desk and got a couple of tissues. Tamia took the tissues
from him and dried her eyes and wiped her nose. It didn't do much good as more
tears just spilled down her cheeks. "You gonna be okay?" Mark asked.
He felt stupid for asking such a question, considering the circumstances, but
he didn't know what else to say. Tamia nodded, "I...I think so," she
said, as the tears continued.
Mark stood up and helped Tamia up. He pulled her to him and hugged her. She
held onto him as she tried to stop crying. She pulled back from him and tried
to smile. "Everything will be alright," Mark said, trying to
encourage her. She smiled faintly and nodded. "Thank you," she said,
half crying and half whispering. She grabbed her books and walked out, embarrassed
at crying in front of the group of men, especially Mr. Calaway.
"Hey Mark, what's up?" Randy Orton said, walking through the door,
followed by Ric Flair a.k.a. The Nature Boy. "Who's the hottie that just
left this room?" "Don't even think about it!" Mark replied
giving Randy a deadly glare. "Chill out man," Randy said, holding his
hands up.
"So what was up with the girl?" Glen asked. "She just found out
that her parents died," Mark replied sadly. "She had stayed after to
get help on a paper and she found out after she had finished. I hope she'll be
okay," he explained. "Damn...that sucks!" Brock said. Mark just
looked at him. He then thought of something. He walked over to his file cabinet
and opened it. He looked through it until he found the file that he was looking
for. He opened it and looked at it for a few minutes and then walked over to
the phone. He dialed the number and waited for someone to answer.
"Hello?" the person answered. "Stacy, this is Mr. C. I need you
to go check on Tamia. She needs someone right now," he said. "What
happened?" Stacy asked. "She'll explain it, I'm sure," he
replied.
Chapter
4
Stacy waited impatiently at the airport for Tamia's plane to arrive. They
hadn't seen each other in 3 years. After high school, Tamia dissappeared,
calling Stacy every so often. She never told her where she was though. Mr.
Calaway had left after the school year to go back to wrestling. So Tamia didn't
have to have him as a teacher her senior year. She never told anyone, but she
missed him after he left. Stacy noted a big change in Tamia after her parents
had died. She never smiled, talked to anyone, or left the house. The only time
she left the house was when it was necessary, which was to go to work or
school. Stacy finally came back to the present. She looked around and finally
spotted Tamia. The girls went running towards each other smiling. Tamia dropped
her bags as she went to hug Stacy. "It's so good to see you! You seem
happier then the last time I saw you!" Stacy said smiling. "Oh...I am
happy Stacy. I have sooo much to tell you!" Tamia replied excitedly. Stacy
helped Tamia carry her bags out to her car, and they headed towards Stacy's
house.
Once Stacy got Tamia settled into the guest room, they ate dinner. Afterwards,
they went out into the back yard and sat on the chairs that were on the patio.
"So tell me what you've been up to the last 3 years," Stacy said,
looking at her. Tamia looked out at the yard as she began to tell Stacy what
her life has been like since they last saw each other.
"Well...after graduation I went off to that college that I told you about.
After about a month I realized that college wasn't the thing for me. So I
dropped out. I didn't have a job for awhile. But then...I ended up going into
this gym...just to work out for awhile, and I saw this little flyer posted on
the bulliten. This guy walked up to me and asked me if I was interested. It
turns out that he was the manager for this modeling company. So I said yes, and
he gave me the address to the place and told me to be there the next day at
7:00 a.m. So I got there the next morning and they took some photos of me. I
guess the guy liked me, cause he hired me. So I've been modeling ever since. I
just got an offer from a Vince McMahon. He wants me and a couple of other girls
to pose with a group called Evolution. I don't know who they are...but my job
is my job. They gave me an address and a time. I have to leave at the end of
this week. They want us to be in New York by 6:00 a.m. Friday morning!"
Tamia explained. "Wow!" Seems like you've had quite an
adventure," Stacy exclaimed. "Yeah, I have. I absolutely love
modeling!" Tamia said excitedly. The girls stayed up all night catching up
with each other. All too soon...the time came for Tamia to leave. Stacy drove
her to the airport and they said their goodbyes. Tamia promised to call as soon
as she landed in New York. They both promised to keep in touch more.
Chapter
5
Tamia arrived at the arena an hour and 45 minutes before she and the other
girls were scheduled to be there. She wanted to meet this Vince McMahon and
hopefully the people that she would be in the shoot with. She finally found a
door with Vince's name on it. She knocked and a young woman answered. "She
can't be more than a couple of years older than me," Tamia thought to
herself. "Can I help you?" the woman asked. "Yes, I'm looking
for Vince McMahon," Tamia replied. "Ummm...right this way," the
woman said. "Dad...someone's here to see you," she yelled. "Alright,"
Vince yelled back. He then came into the room. "Yes? How can I help
you?" he asked walking up to Tamia. "Yes, I'm one of the models.
We're supposed to be in the photo shoot with...Evolution. I just wanted to meet
you and hopefully get an idea of what I should expect," Tamia explained.
"Oh, okay. Well, we just wanna get a few shots of you and the other girls
with Evolution. It's for a new slogan. The photographer will position you the
way he wants, so I can't give you an idea about that," Vince explained to
her. "Oh alright, thank you," Tamia said. "No problem,
anytime," Vince said. "That was very professional," Stephanie
said after Tamia left. Vince smiled and turned to his daughter. "I was
just thinking the same thing."
Tamia found her co-workers and together they found the photographer. About 15
minutes later Evolution showed up. The photographer positioned everything the
way he wanted it and began snapping pictures. After about 5 minutes, a group of
wrestlers started to form around, watching the photo shoot. The Undertaker,
Kane, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Shawn Michaels were all there.
Once the photo shoot was done, Evolution left and the girls stood around
deciding on whether or not they wanted to go to lunch. They decided they would
and started to walk off.
Undertaker, Kane, Steve, and Shawn started to walk off too but stopped when
they heard Vince yelling. They turned and saw Vince and Stephanie running in
their direction. "Ms. Stevenson! Ms. Stevenson, wait!" he yelled. The
guys watched as one of the models turned around. She waved to the other girls,
agreeing to meet up with them later. "Ms, Stevenson...I want to offer you
a job," Vince said, trying to catch his breath. "A job?" Tamia
asked. "Yes, when you came into my office earlier, you were very
professional. I like that in a person. You're also very beautiful. We could use
a few more divas around here and I'd like you to be one. Of course, you'll be
wrestling also, so you'll have to go to wrestling school. That of course will
all be paid for, so you don't have to worry about that," Vince explained.
Tamia looked shocked. She looked over at Stephanie, who had a huge smile on her
face. "Uhhh..." "Please!" Vince interrupted.
"Ummm...well. I guess I can give it a try. But if I don't like it, I'm
leaving!" Tamia said. "So...then we have a deal?" Vince asked.
"I guess so," she replied. "Good, I'll send you all of the
information that you need within the week," Vince said, shaking her hand.
"Uhh...okay, thanks," she said, returning his handshake. After the handshake,
Vince and Stephanie went back down the hallway and Tamia went to meet her
friends for lunch. "Stevenson...why does that sound so familiar?"
Undertaker said. The others just looked at him as they continued on their way.
Chapter
6
Tamia walked into the pavilon in Boise, Idaho. She was going to work a house
show, to see how the crowd would react to her. She had gone to the wrestling
school that Vince had sent her to. She had spent 2 years working her ass off
learning all kinds of wrestling moves, among other things. She was extrememly
nervous about tonight. She was supposed to interefere in a match tonight, only
Vince didn't tell the other party.
Tamia mader her way back through the curtain. She had helped The Hurricane and
his side kick, Rosey get a win over The Undertaker and Kane. 'Taker and Kane
were NOT happy. They stormed backstage looking for the person that had cost
them their match. They found her talking to The Hurricane and Rosey. 'Taker
stormed up to her and grabbed her arm roughly. "Oww, what the hell do you
think you're doing?" Tamia yelled. She looked up into 'Taker's eyes and
saw the anger in them. It caused her anger to turn to fear. "What the hell
do you think you were doing out there?! You don't just interefere in a match
like that! Things like that get discussed around here!" he yelled at her.
The more he yelled, the tighter his grip became. "P...Please let go!"
Tamia begged. "Hey man, Vince told her to do it," Rosey said. 'Taker
turned to him. "You stay out of it! I'm talkin' to you her not you!"
he growled. He turned back to Tamia and squeezed her arm as he yelled,
"I'm waitin' for an answer little girl!" Tamia gasped at the pain
that shot through her arm. Kane noticed that he was hurting her. "Mark,
loosen it up a bit, man." "It was your match too Glen!" he said,
not looking at him. He kept his eyes on Tamia, waiting for her to answer him.
"You'd better answer me, girl!" he said. "I...I...I..."
Tamia tried to explain but she couldn't get anything out. "MARK!"
Vince yelled, coming toward them. "Mark, let go of her!" he said as
he reached them. 'Taker roughly let go of her arm as be backed away.
"Tamia, are you alright?" Vince asked. Tamia, holding her arm, nodded
and said, "Y...Yes, I'm fine." "What the hell were you doing?"
Vince yelled, looking at 'Taker. "She cost us our match. She hit me in the
head with a fucking chair, Vince!" he yelled. "I told her to, Mark!
She wouldn't have done it otherwise!" Vince yelled back. "You should
have informed us," Kane said. "I know, I should have done that. But
at the time I wasn't thinking. I was excited about getting her started,"
Vince explained.
Vince turned and looked at Tamia. She had tears in her eyes. She was frightened
and her arm hurt. "Tamia...you can go ahead and leave for the night,"
Vince said. Tamia glanced at 'Taker and Kane and then walked off down the
hallway to the women's locker room. "I think that you should apologize to
her. She was only doing what I told her to do." With that, Vince walked off.
'Taker stood there thinking about what Vince had said. He looked at Kane who
just shrugged his shoulders.
"Great...just perfect! I've only been here one day and I've made 2
enemies!" Tamia said, slowly packing her bag. "Everyone's already
gone, which means that my ride is gone also," she said to herself. She
looked in the mirror and wiped the tears from her eyes. She washed her face and
then grabbed her bag and left the room. Upon leaving the room, she ran right
into 'Taker. "I'm sorry!" she quickly said. She started to walk off
but 'Taker gently grabbed her arm. "Wait! I'm sorry about earlier. I
shouldn't have yelled at you like I did, and I certainly had no right to grab
you like I did either," he explained. He could tell that she had been
crying. Kane just kinda stood back and let 'Taker talk. Tamia looked at him,
unsure of what to say. "Ummm...it...it's okay," she said, just above
a whisper. 'Taker didn't say anything. Tamia realized that he was done talking,
so she turned and headed for the exit. "You should see if she needs a
ride," Kane said. 'Taker looked at him and then at 'Tamia just as she
walked out the door. He took off running towards the exit. He ran up to her and
tapped her on the shoulder. "Uhh...would you like a ride?" If you
already have one it's..." "No. I...I don't have one, actually,"
Tamia replied. "You can ride with us, if you want," 'Taker said,
pointing to himself and Kane, who was walking up to them. "O...Okay,"
she agreed. A limo pulled up and the next thing she knew, someone was grabbing
her bag. She looked at the driver as he put her bag, along with 'Taker and
Kane's, in the trunk. Then he came around and opened the door for them. Tamia
hesitantly walked toward the limo and got in. 'Taker and Kane got in after her
and the driver shut the door. It would be at the least a 15 minute drive to the
hotel.
"So...uhhh...how long have you wanted to be a wrestler?" Kane asked.
"I didn't," Tamia answered simply. "Then why..."
"Because Vince offered me a job," she explained. Kane just nodded.
"I'm Glen," he said, holding out his hand to her. She hesitantly took
his hand and said, "Tamia." "This is Mark," he said. Tamia
just looked at him, and then turned her head back towards the window. Just then
her cellphone started ringing. She reached into her purse and grabbed it.
"Hello?" "Hey Mia, it's Stacy." "Hi Stacy," Tamia
sighed. She really wasn't in the mood to talk. "Mia...I got some news for
you," Stacy said seriously. "Okaaay." "Your Aunt sold the
house," she said. "What? Why?" Tamia asked, tears coming to her
eyes. "I don't know Mia. I just found out and I thought that you should
know." Tamia couldn't believe it. Her Aunt had sold her parents' house.
"Why would she...how?" Tamia asked. "I don't know. I'm sorry.
I'll call you later," Stacy said. "Bye," Tamia said, hanging up
the phone. She turned to look out the window, trying not to let her tears fall.
Mark looked over and noticed that she was crying softly. He moved over into the
seat next to her. "Hey...you okay?" he asked. Tamia wiped her eyes
and then turned to look at him. "I'm fine, thank you." she replied.
"You wanna talk about it?" he asked. Before she could answer, the
limo stopped and the driver opened the door. Glen climbed out first, folled by
Mark. Mark turned around and extended his hand out to her. She took it and he
helped her out of the limo. Mark took both his bag and her's and they all went
into the hotel. Tamia turned around to take her bag, but Mark wouldn't let go.
He was just standing there, staring at her. "Mark! Give the girl her bag!"
Glen said. Mark snapped out of it and looked at him. Then he looked down and
Tamia. "I'm sorry, you just look familiar," he said. He gave her her
bag and watched as she started to walk away. "Wait!" he said, walking
up to her. "Why don't you have a late dinner with Glen and I. You can tell
us about yourself. We can all get to know each other!" Mark pleaded. Tamia
thought about it. She wasn't sure if she wanted to tell these 2 men about her.
But then she decided that since they all work together, they might as well get
to know each other. "Ummm...okay. Just let me take my bag up to my room
and change," she said. Mark nodded and then watched her walk away.
Chapter
7
Mark and Glen sat at the table waiting for Tamia to join them. While they were
waiting, part of Evolution and a few other guys showed up. There was Triple H,
Ric Flair, Randy Orton, Shawn Michaels, Brock Lesnar, and "Stone
Cold" Steve Austin. Mark was a little annoyed, but Glen didn't seem to
mind. Just then, Tamia came around the corner. All the guys turned and looked
at her.
Tamia looked up and noticed all of the guys. She sighed to herself and
continued to walk over to them. She stopped next to the table and looked at
Mark. The guys were still staring at her. Mark got up and gently took her arm.
He led her away from the table to a secluded spot of the restaurant. He made
sure that they were out of sight from the others. Then he turned and looked at
her. For the first time, he got a really good look at her. She had brown hair,
with natural blonde highlights that went to the middle of her back. She had the
brightest blue eyes he'd ever seen. And to him, she had the most beautiful
body. She wasn't fake like a lot of girls. She was about a foot, maybe a foot
and a half shorter than him. He thought that he could stare at her forever.
Tamia waited for him to say something. She was starting to get a little
uncomfortable with the way that he was staring at her. "Mark? What are we
doing?" she asked. Mark didn't answer her. He took notice of what she was
wearing. She was wearing a black baby tee, blue flare jeans, and a pair of
black lower eastside boots. He was about to say something, but her cellphone
rang. Tamia dug around in her purse and pulled out her cell. "Hello?"
"Hey Mia, it's Stacy." "Oh hi, Stace." "Listen, I just
wanted to let you know that I'm in Boise." "You're in Boise?"
"Yeah...I wanted to come and see you. I haven't seen you in what seems
like forever." "Okay...well...I'm at the Mariot, you know which
one?" "Yeah...I'll be there in a few minutes." "Alright,
bye." "Bye." Tamia hung up her phone and put it back in her
purse. She looked back up at Mark.
"I'm sorry, I just wanted to be able to talk to you without the others. I
didn't know that they were gonna be here. They just showed up," Mark
explained. "Oh...okay, well what..." "You're really
beautiful," he interrupted. Tamia looked at him. "Umm...tha...thank
you," she replied. She was a little stunned, she hadn't expected him to
say that. "She looks so familiar," he said to himself. Mark stared at
her, trying to figure out where he'd seen her before. He was also fighting the
urge to kiss her. Finally, he just couldn't stand it anymore and he leaned down
and softly kissed her lips. He pulled back and looked at her. Her eyes were
wide and she didn't say anything. She was staring at him in shock.
"I...I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that," Mark said quickly.
"No...it...it's okay," Tamia said, looking at the floor. "You
mean...you didn't mind it?" Mark asked. Tamia just shook her head, still
looking at the floor. She could feel herself blushing. Mark hooked his finger
under her chin and gently lifted her head, making her look at him.
"Then...you won't mind if I do it again, will you?" Tamia shook her
head no. Mark leaned down and kissed her again, more deeply this time. He
quickly broke the kiss when someone call his name.
"Mr. Calaway?" Stacy asked, coming toward them. "Is that
you?" When Mark didn't answer her, she continued. "I used to be on of
your students, probably about 5 years ago," Stacy explained. "Oh
yeah, I remember you. Didn't you have a friend?" he asked.
"Yeah...Tamia. Her and I are best friends," she replied, pointing
behind him at Tamia. Mark slowly turned around, staring at Tamia.
She was staring at him in shock. How could she not recognize him? How could she
not remember him? She just kissed her teacher! The man who had always
intimidated her. The man who had always made her uncomfortable when he looked
at her. And now she works with him! She felt so embarrassed.
"Now I know why you look familiar. I recognized your name too," Mark
said. Tamia looked down, tears coming to her eyes. Stacy hurried over to Tamia
and put her arm around her. "Mia, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Tamia
just walked away, hurrying to her hotel room. Once inside, she let her tears
fall. Mark and Stacy stood there and watched her walk away. They looked at each
other, and as if reading each other's minds, they took off after her.
They took the elevator and reached Tamia's floor. They got off just in time to
see the door closing.
Tamia walked into the room, sensing that something was wrong. She brushed it
off as it just being her emotions. She walked further into the room, and then
she heard it. The voice she never wanted to hear again. Tamia slowly turned around,
knowing who she would find.

Chapter 8
"Miss me baby?" he asked. Tamia looked across the room at Brian. She
looked into his cold eyes that were filled with hate. "How did you get in
here?" she asked, trying hard not to let him see her fear. "Oh, I
have my ways. But that doesn't matter now. What matters now...is what I'm gonna
do. You see...I didn't like it very much when you just up and left. Why did you
leave, Mia? I thought our relationship was wonderful," he said, moving towards
her. "You know damn well why I left, Brian," Tamia said, her voice
shaking more and more as she talked. "Well...you've been very bad. I guess
I'll have to punish you for running away. I can't have my girlfriend disobeying
me!" he said, walking over to her. "I'm not your girlfriend!"
Tamia said, her voice rising. Brian started to say something, but someone
knocked on the door.
Mark knocked on Tamia's door, hoping to be able to talk to her. He knocked
again when he got no answer. Stacy stood next to him, figeting nervously. She
had a feeling that Tamia was in trouble.
Tamia looked at the door when she heard someone knock. She glanced at Brian
quickly and took off towards the door. Brian went after her and caught her just
as she reached for the door handle.
Brian slammed her into the door and started yelling at her. Tamia stared at
him; she was scared to death. "You can't run from me anymore, Mia! I'm
gonna make sure that you learn your lesson!" he yelled. He grabbed her by
her hair and swung her into a nearby dresser, knocking the lamp that was on top
of it, to the floor, causing it to break into pieces.
"What the hell was that?" Stacy asked when something hit the door.
"I don't know," Mark said, looking a bit worried. "I have a bad
feeling," Stacy said. Mark started banging on the door with his fist.
"TAMIA! OPEN THIS DOOR!" he yelled.
Brian walked over and picked Tamia up. She caught some of her breath and pushed
him away. Brian came right back and punched her in the stomach. Tamia doubled
over, coughing and gasping for air. She could hear the banging on the door and
someone yelling her name. Brian again picked her up. Tamia managed to throw a
punch, which connected with Brian's right eye. He let go of her, grabbing his
eye, letting out a yelp of pain. Tamia started running, as fast as she could
considering the pain she was in, towards the door. Brian saw that she was
headed toward the door and he took off after her. She just got the door opened
when Brian tackled her.
Mark was about to beat on the door again when it opened and 2 bodies flew into
him. He stumbled backwards as the 2 people fell to the floor. "MIA!"
Stacy screamed as she watched her best friend fall to the floor with this guy.
Brian was able to get his hands around her neck. "You stupid BITCH!"
he screamed as he started choking her. Mark didn't really know what to do.
Finally snapping out of it, he walked over and lifted Brian off of Tamia. Brian
tried fighting Mark off, but it wasn't working very well. Brian swung his fist
around and caught Mark in the jam. That pissed him off. Mark pulled his fist
back and nailed Brian in the nose, breaking it. He then drug him over to the
elevators. He pushed him into one of the elevators, and before letting the
doors close, he calmly but deadly said, "You touch Tamia again, you'll be
meeting more than just my fist!" With that said, he let the doors close,
catching Brian's glare before no longer being able to see him.
Chapter
9
Mark met up with the guys for breakfast the next morning. Before ordering, he
called Vince and told him what had happened the night before. Of course, the
guys were listening to his conversation. They asked him question after question
until he finally just told them the whole story. "Is she okay?" Glen
asked. "I don't know, she wouldn't talk to me afterwards," Mark
explained. "Well, that's not very nice. You save her and she doesn't even
say thank you," Randy said. Mark didn't say anything. Vince walked into
the restaurant and over to the table. "Mark, I have informed security of the
man you told me about. We will try our best to keep him out of the arenas and
such. By the way...how is Ms. Stevenson?" "Thanks Vince...and I'm not
sure about Tamia, she wouldn't talk to me last night," Mark
said. "Oh...well..." "There she is," Steve said. The guys
turned and looked, and sure enough Tamia was walking into the restaurant. They
noticed that she was walking gingerly and she had a slight limp. "She
looks a bit sore," Brock commented. "Duh!" Mark said. Everyone
looked at him. Glen just smiled...he had a feeling that something big was going
to come from all of this later on down the road.
Tamia slowly sat down in the booth. She was sooo sore. She hadn't meant to
sound so rude last night when she told Mark to leave. She was a very self
conscience person, and for him to see her like that upset her. She was still
embarrassed about the kiss too. She was the type of person who didn't get over
things quickly and/or easily. And to top everything off...the creative team had
given her a major storyline.
Stacy sat across from her friend, noticing that she was deep in thought. After
ordering their breakfast, Stacy decided to break the silence. "Mia...are
you sure that you are okay?" Tamia just nodded her head. "What are
you thinking about?" "Everything! What happened last night with Mark
and then Brian. My job. You know...the creative team gave me a huge storyling
with The Undertaker and Kane!" Tamia finished. Stacy didn't know what to
say. She knew that she couldn't really say anything to make Tamia feel any
better. "Stace, I'm not really hungry. I just want to get to the next town
and what not. Are you gonna come or do you have to go back home?"
"Actually, I have the week off. So you bet your ass I'm coming!"
Tamia smiled at her. She was glad that her friend was here with her.
The guys were watching the girls as they talked amongst themselves. Glen was
staring at Stacy. She was beautiful just like her friend. She was the same
height as Tamia and her hair was the same length only blonde. And just like Tamia,
she had a beautiful body. "I wouldn't mind getting to know her
better," he said to himself. Mark noticed Tamia's facial _expression when
she moved to get out of the booth. It was an _expression full of pain. He could
tell that she was trying to hide it. He watched as she and her friend left the
hotel. He decided that he would talk to her later that night at the arena. He
and the guys got up to leave, ready to get on the road.
Chapter 10
Tamia walked back to her dressing room, not believing what had just happened.
"Well, how'd it go?" Stacy asked once Tamia entered the room. Tamia
didn't say anything, just handed Stacy the paper. Stacy looked at her as she
took the paper from her.
"You have to face the Undertaker?!" Stacy exclaimed. Tamia just
nodded slightly. "What am I gonna do?" Tamia asked. "Sure, I
know how to wrestle. But..The Undertaker!" She continued. She sighed
heavily, putting her face in her hands. "You can do this Mia! I'm sure
that 'Taker won't be too hard," Stacy said trying to encourage her. Tamia
looked at her friend and smiled. "Thanks Stace!"
Undertaker headed towards the curtain, thinking about the match that was
supposed to happen. He made it very clear to Vince that he didn't want to do
this. Vince had begged him, saying that it would be good for the ratings and
the storylines. 'Taker still didn't want to do it. "It can't be that bad.
She is a wrestler after all," he said, trying to reassure himself.
He rounded the corner and saw Tamia waiting by the curtain. He walked up to her
and stood silently next to her. Tamia looked over and noticed that 'Taker was
standing next to her. She looked up and realized that he was staring at her.
She looked away and started watching a nearby monitor. She heard 'Taker's music
start and watched him leave out of the corner of her eye.
'Taker stood in the ring with a mic in his hand, waiting for the cheers to die
down. "Now, there is a young lady back there that I'm startin' to have a
problem with. This young woman thinks she's big enough to interefere in the big
dog's matches...let's see if she's big enough to tangle with the big dog
himself! Would you all like to see that?" he said, looking out at the
crowd. The crowd erupted in cheers. "Come on Tamia, get out here! Let's
see how tough ya are!" he said. He smiled when he saw her walk out onto
the stage. He handed the mic to Lilian and waited patiently for Tamia to reach
the ring.
Chapter
11
Tamia hesitantly made her way down the ramp, getting more and more nervous as
she went. She reached the steps and slowly climbed each step and stepped onto
the apron. Then slowly climbed through the ropes.
'Taker glared at her, which caused her to take a step back. He started yelling
at her about interfering in his and Kane's match. Tamia was scared to death.
She backed away from him until she hit the ropes. 'Taker knew she was scared.
He could see the fear in her eyes. He decided that he had better get the match
going before the fans started to get angry. He reached out and grabbed her hand
and whipped her across the ring into the ropes.
Tamia didn't know what was going through 'Taker's mind, but she knew that she
was in trouble. She bounced off of the ropes and 'Taker clotheslined her. He
was trying to be as easy as he could without it being too noticeable. He watched
as Tamia rolled over onto her stomach and slowly made her way to her feet. Once
she got to her feet, 'Taker grabbed her and positioned her for the last ride.
He grabbed her around the waist and lifted her up onto his shoulders. Once up
there, Tamia started throwing punches to the back of his head. 'Taker lost his
balance and fell backwards and landed on his back. Tamia threw punch after
punch and then all of a sudden 'Taker grabbed her around the throat, squeezing
slightly. He was a bit irritated with the way she was throwing punches at him.
He stood up and got ready to chokeslam her. He hoisted her up into the air,
hesitating for a few seconds. He was about to follow through with it when he
was hit from behind. He dropped Tamia as he fell to his knees. Tamia looked up
to see Kane standing over her. He reached down and helped her up. He helped her
out of the ring and got out himself just as 'Taker got to his feet. 'Taker
watched as Kane helped Tamia up the ramp.
"Undertaker!" Terri said, running down the hallway towards him.
"Undertaker...could I get your thoughts on your match? How do you feel
about your brother helping out your oppenent?" she asked, holding the mic
up to him. "What are my thoughts? How do I feel? Well Terri, let me tell
you how I feel about all of this. That little bitch not only interefered in my
match...she interefered in Kane's too...causing us to lose the the match all
together. I don't know why my brother came to her aid tonight, but I'm gonna
find out!" With that said, he turned and walked away as the cameras went
to JR and "The King."
'Taker made his way to Kane's room. He knew that Tamia had probably seen his
interview. He felt bad about calling her a bitch...but he had to make it look
and sound real.
One of the camera men came running up to 'Taker. "'Taker...we wanna catch
you making your way to Kane's room," he said. 'Taker sighed heavily,
wanting nothing more than to find Kane and Tamia and go back to the hotel. He
waited for the camera man to finish and then he headed down the hallway again,
with the camera right behind him.
'Taker rounded the corner and stopped when he saw Kane and Tamia walking
together. Kane turned around and upon seeing 'Taker, he gently pushed Tamia
behind him. 'Taker walked forward, glaring at the both of them. "What the
hell do you think you're doing? Why are you protecting her?!" 'Taker said,
looking his brother right in the eyes. "I'm not gonna let you hurt
her," Kane said, his voice raspy. "Kane...she needs to be punished!"
'Taker yelled. Kane felt Tamia grab the back of his suit. He could tell that
she was frightened. But he could tell that she wasn't faking it...she really
was frightened.
"Kane...she's only gonna bring you trouble!" 'Taker said, trying to
reason with him. "No 'Taker, leave her alone, I'm warning you!" Kane
replied. With that said, he turned and began to walk away with Tamia in front
of him. The cameras caught 'Taker's look of surprise. Then, the cameras once
again went to JR and "The King," where they discussed the situation.
All too soon, the show was over and everyone went back to the hotel.
Chapter
12
Mark walked into the hotel lobby to see Glen checking in, along with all the
other wrestlers and divas. "Hey Mark," Glen said. "Hey,"
Mark replied. "I hope I didn't hit ya too hard out there," Glen said.
"No, you didn't. What were you doin' out there anyway?" "Vince
sent me out there. He said somethin' about just having a great idea. So he
quickly told me what to do. I took Tamia back to my dressing room with me,
cause that's what Vince told me to do. I think she was a little shook up, she
seemed scared. I could tell by the way she grabbed onto me during our
confrontation," Glen explained. "Yeah, I could tell when she got in
the ring too. I think that everything is startin' to get to her."
"What do you mean?" "Well...I mean...first, there's me bein' her
former teacher, then that night with that guy...remember, where he attacked
her. Then there's our very first meeting when I got mad at her, then there's
the..." Mark trailed off, not sure if he wanted to tell Glen about the
kiss that he and Tamia had shared. After getting their key cards to their
rooms, they headed towards the elevators. "The what?" Glen asked.
Mark sighed figuring that he might as well tell his best friend. "The kiss,"
he said quietly. "The what?! You didn't! Did you?!" "It was her
first night and we had given her a ride to the hotel. She came back down from
her room and then we left the table, remember? Afterwards, she found out who I
was and she freaked and went to her room," Mark explained.
"Wait...did you say that you were her former teacher?" "Yeah.
Remember when you, Hunter, and the others came by the school, when I was
teaching?" Glen just nodded his head. Then it dawned on him. "She was
the girl that was crying. Her parents had just died." "Yeah...that
was her," Mark said as the elevator doors opened. They stepped off into
the hallway. "Wow! Now she's here in the WWE!" Glen said, looking
amazed. Mark just chuckled and nodded his head. "I really need to talk to
her, do you happen to know what room she's in?" Mark asked.
Just then Stacy came out of her room, bumping into Glen. She looked up and
stared at him. "Damn, he's gorgeous!" she thought. "Sorry, you
okay there?" Glen asked. "Yes, thank you," Stacy said, still
staring at him. Glen smiled at her making her heart melt. Mark cleared his
throat trying to get their attention.
They both turned and looked at him. "Hi Stacy, do you happen to know what
room Tamia is in?" "Yeah, we got adjoining rooms," she said pointing
to the door next to her's. "Thanks," Mark said smiling. "No
problem," Stacy replied smiling back. "Glen, would you come with
me?" Mark asked, trying not to make it too obvious that he didn't want to
go alone. "Sure," Glen said. "What are you guys gonna do?"
Stacy asked. "Nothin', I just need to talk to her," Mark said.
"Oh...okay. You know what Mr. C..." "Call me Mark,"
"Mark...after you left the high school, I think Tamia really missed you.
She never actually came right out and said it...but I could tell that she did.
I just thought you should know that." Stacy turned and headed for the
elevators, leaving Mark standing there, stunned. He looked at Glen, who just
kinda shrugged his shoulders. Then he turned and looked at the door, raising
his hand to knock
