This year's Axxess was a three day affair, running from Thursday 3/14/02 to Saturday 3/16/02.
This year's Axxess was much smaller (space wise) than last year's and if you attended one Axxess you got to see everything there was to see. Missing this year was the McMahon Manson, J.R.'s Barbecue, the racing cars, the WWF.com couch interviews and the exercise area.
Axxess contained many of the same exhibits and things as last year's Axxess, and a few from last year were not present and not replaced.
The Divas Poster
You could pretend you were announcing an actual match at a booth set up for it.
The cars were set up near the entrance to Axxess and they were basically the same ones as last year.

The only new vehicle added was the Rocks Ambulance.

The autograph tables this time were not manned by two wrestlers at a time like last year. There was only one wrestler per table. Last year there were two wrestlers in every autograph nitch, signing at different tables so if you got one autograph, you could join the line at the other side and possibly get the autograph of the next wrestler on that line.
The Hardy Boys
The only place where I saw two wrestlers at once was in the cage in the center Floor of Axxess and that line took us an hour and a half to get to the front.
The ring, as always, is a fan favorite. Here you can see actual matches, interviews and they even have question and answer sessions with the wrestlers, after which the wrestlers will sign autographs near the ring and take pictures with you.
The Ring
A new addition to this year's Axxess was the PlayStation 2 stage, where you could see the wrestlers playing Smackdown on PlayStation against the fans. Here is where you could take as many pictures as you wanted of the wrestlers as they played the game.
The Hurricane
Another new exhibit on view at Axxess was the metal cast busts of some of the wrestler's body parts.
Al Snow
There also was a photo charity booth set up where for $10.00 you would be photographed ith whatever wrestler was present at the time you reached the front of the line.
DDP
Then there was a new display of the New Jaxx wrestler dolls that will be coming out this year.

AXXESS - IN MY OPINION:
Axxess was very disorganized and not very different than last year. The security guards were very discourteous and pushy. They would not allow you to take pictures of the wrestlers as they sat signing at the tables. They would scream at you, and at one point, one of them pushed me and told me to keep on moving, which almost put me in an altercation with her, as she had no right to put her hands on me.
The guards insisted that you stand in line, even to take pictures and on those lines it would normally take you about 3 hours to get to the front, only to find out that the wrestler you wanted to see was replaced by someone else.
I would suggest that they make two lines. One for people who wish to get the wrestler's autograph and one for those who only wish to photograph the wrestlers which would allow you one minute to take his or her photograph and then you would have to leave. This way everyone is satisfied. Apparently, as I'm almost sure the WWF knows, not everyone can stand on a line for 3 hours.. Especially when you have to stand on various lines just to see a wrestler at a time.
